Emory was exactly what I needed in a time of desperation. Upon completing detox, I began attending Emory 5 days a week. My therapist, Andrew, was extremely helpful, patient, and motivating to me in the beginning when I was struggling. He can always put things in perspective, and helped me develop coping / relapse prevention skills. My case manager, Marc, helped me with some financial stuff and was crucial in helping me kind of get my affairs in order. I graduated yesterday and I have a solid program of recovery and a new group of close friends I plan to stay in touch with. Katelyn is also an amazing group facilitator, as is George. Great people, excellent support. 10/10 would recommend to anyone struggling with addiction.

Emory Recovery Center has provided me with the opportunity to live the life I've been missing out on for many years. Alcohol use seemed to be the only reason for my existence, because it finally became part of my daily life. Alcohol was slowly ruining everything I had worked for, including my family. I was forced to make a change, and miraculously, Emory came into my life. The moment I walked through the door I felt welcomed and immediately felt a good "vibe" about the place. The entire Emory Team seems to have been strategically "hand-picked" to ensure every client's needs can be met. They nailed it! My Therapist, Jack, was the perfect fit. We are both veterans, so we immediately had common ground to begin what ended up being over 7 months of therapy together. Jack didn't sugar coat anything and called me out when I would make excuses for my past behavior. He knew how to get through to me and always held me accountable. If you are truly looking to get sober, Emory Recovery Center and their limitless resources to help conquer addiction is the best place to start the journey.

Emory Recovery has an amazing program! My case manager Marc Sartini and counselor Roxanne are committed and invested in my recovery. Marc helped me get approved for a grant to help cover sober house costs which has allowed me to focus on my sobriety. My therapy sessions with Roxanne have been great…helping me work through cravings. I’ve been enrolled in the IOP for 2 months now and it has been a great addition to my recovery. The groups are very productive and facilitated in a way that are both engaging helpful. I highly recommend Emory Recovery to anyone struggling with substance abuse. 10/10

Emory has been an uplifting and life changing experience! The staff is professional and empathetic with clients, they have the knowledge needed to provide help to clients at all levels of recovery. Amy has continuously been a tremendous help with any of my needs and all of her other clients and really goes to bat for us when it’s time to play ball! Emory is a great place! Katelyn is the best Therapist! And is always there for me when I need her. Mark is my caseworker. Right when I came to Emory he was quick to get family paid leave set up for me and efficient and quick to communicate with HR at my work to get everything sorted out. Highly recommend!

Emory has been so helpful. I was skeptical about how it was going to be but after a week or sticking it out I’m so glad I stayed. The staff is great, of course there’s always going to be one or two people that have things they should work on or you don’t vibe with, but the rest are great. The case manager, Marc, goes above and beyond with making sure your needs are met and making sure things are taken care of. One of the therapists, Catelyn, is absolutely amazing. She genuinely cares about her patients. She is a straight-shooter, meets you where you’re at and always knows where to steer you in the most helpful way. You can tell she prepares and runs groups that are well thought out way ahead of time. Honestly, I can’t say enough about how incredible she is. She has touched so many peoples lives. You’ll see- everyone wants her as their therapist! Angelo makes sure things are run smoothly and wants the best for everyone. He is a great man! Sue is so sweet and gives great advice. Andrew, Jack, Carrie and Aaron run groups and truly care about your recovery process and helping you get to where you need to be. Overall, I am incredibly grateful for Emory, the skills and foundation they’ve helped me achieve towards my recovery and what they’ve done for my life. Thank you!

I have been a patient at Emory recovery center for a long time now. Overall the experience here has been fantastic, I feel much more connected to myself after spending time in groups. We run three groups a day, the first one is a check in group so everyone can say what's on their mind or what's happened to them in the last twenty four hours. This group is very useful for getting to know your peers and getting feedback on things you should or should not be doing. When I first came here I never would have expected to have made as many quality friends as I have. These people have become life long friends and we all help to keep each other up. Emory recovery center also provides lunch to clients who come for full days. Emory recovery center also provides you with a weekly one on one session with a therapist, I have never been in therapy before and find these sessions extremely useful. There is also an amazing team of case workers here who have helped me exponentially with my legal troubles. I tend to overthink these kinds of things and I'm always met with excellent support and they will get to the bottom of whatever I have going on. Overall my time here has helped me more then I could really put into words, I am so much more confident in myself and my goals and I know I will continue to do well. Shout-out to Rachel for being an awesome case worker and Kaitlyn for being an amazing therapist!
