We had been trying for 3 years with no success. We did 4 rounds of IUI which were not successful (the people here didn't hesitate to remind us of that over and over). We ended up getting pregnant out of nowhere, the cycle right before IVF and we were ecstatic.

We went in for the ultrasound and from the moment we got there we were treated like an afterthought. Long story short my wife and I, who had never been pregnant before, went in for an early ultrasound at 5 weeks and they said it was too early to see anything on ultrasound but never said there was anything to be alarmed.

So we scheduled a follow up 10 days later and the exact wording the technician used when explaining what she saw was...."well it looks like you passed it"

We didn't even know what she was talking about. We went in expecting to get updates on our baby and left with nothing but questions.

No matter your situation...do not trust these people with your pregnancy care.

I honestly have nothing bad to say about this practice. Dr. Bermudez has been my doctor since moving to Attleboro from NY, and she has been absolutely amazing, EXTREMELY attentive, and just overall, a great doctor and human being.

I gave birth to my 5th child a month ago and was informed that it was possible that I may have a hemorrhage as I've had with my first child. A week after giving birth, I had bell's palsy AND a postpartum hemorrhage and have been back and forth to the hospital with such a difficult recovery.

After a while, I knew that I had something going on with me. I assumed an infection and was back and forth to the hospital because of my symptoms. The hospital staff in the ER told me that I didn't have an infection, that I was fine. I knew I wasn't fine, but I began to think that it was all in my head after a while.

I had an appointment with Dr. Bermudez and discussed my symptoms with her. She listened (as always) to everything that I said and believed me. She did further testing and found out that I, in fact, did have an infection that is highly contagious. I went roughly 3 weeks with these symptoms, and not a soul listened to me besides Dr. Bermudez and I'm truly thankful to God for her.

Even when I had my hemorrhage, the doctors in the ER dismissed me. It was OB who requested a CT scan of my belly and saw the hemorrhage. The ER dismissed me each time, but the doctors here, ESPECIALLY BERMUDEZ, have listened and went above and beyond to help me out. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Dr. Bermudez to anyone. She's truly a gift from God.

Although I will never have another child again because I never want to experience this ever again, I genuinely love this place, and that's truly all thanks to Dr. Bermudez. The lab tech is also my favorite! She's the sweetest!

I just saw jennifer decarolis and it was so refreshing to get a healthcare provider that didn't make you feel rushed! She answered all my questions had a wealth of knowledge and is honestly such a great addition to the Sturdy team. I have been a patient for a while and had my second daughter with this practice and even though they went through a time where they were overcrowded and understaffed it's nice that they seem to have figured stuff out!!! Go see Jen she is amazing

Where do I even start with how AWFUL this practice is? I had a mirena IUD removed in July and nearly passed out because it was just ripped out of me. The appointment was literally less than 5 minutes. The doctor never asked if I had any questions, he was in and out the door. The doctor and nurse never let me know about the “Mirena crash” you will experience after your mirena IUD is removed. Which is a horrible hormonal crash because you no longer have all the hormones from the IUD which I was never warned about.

If I could give this practice a zero for a rating, I would.

Recently found out I was pregnant, was violently sick and tried calling the nurses line 3 times on a Friday. No voicemail set up. Got through to the front desk on a Monday, after being nauseous and throwing up all weekend just for the secretary to tell me “someone will call you back” got a phone call after 4pm that day. I had an 8 week ultra sound, which the results were never discussed with me. The tech barely said anything during my appointment.
During my “nurses visit” the lady basically handed me a folder and sent me on my way. She reviewed the “important pages.” I called again because I almost passed out in the shower. Someone actually answered the nurses line and I was told to drink fluids and rest. Scheduled a second ultra sound and doctors appointment “with Dr. Greb” then got a reminder that it was actually a different doctor.
At the nurses appointment I was informed that even though I will meet with a doctor, it will be a different one every appointment.

One time I called trying to set up my initial appointment and got sent to a call center? And was told “I’ll get a call back.”

I was also informed that almost all the doctors are brand new (only being with the practice a few months) — and besides Dr. Philosophe. This is pretty concerning seeing as how I will be giving birth to a baby and wanted someone with experience.

The turn over at the front desk, besides one woman I recognize over the past few years is unbelievable. It’s impossible to get a hold of anyone at this office. The last time I called to cancel my appointment I was on hold for nearly 15 minutes!

I have spoken to a few other people who have gone to this practice and have had absolutely terrible experiences. 0/10 would NOT recommend especially if you are expecting.

Should have shared this a couple years back but i didnt. I was here having terrible stomach pain and other issues with my time of the month. Was recommended to speak to the endometriosis specialist here. Did that and was immediately shut down and told "you're too young to have that. It's not that. I am not gonna do the surgery on you because I don't see a point". 2 years later of pain and struggling I went somewhere else and ended up going through with the surgery to find out I did have endometriosis. Absolutely not okay and do not recommend if you're looking for an answer. Only good doctor was the lovely women who spoke to me as a person and believed my pain/recommended that it may be endo for the first time ever.

Should’ve shared my story 3 years but wanted to let others know. I haven’t been back in over 2 years… as someone who does not have a female figure in her life, telling a 17 year old they “ don’t know what to do with you” and getting annoyed is very unprofessional. Once again I don’t have a mother to ask questions about this kind of stuff… very unprofessional and uncomfortable environment. I now drive 45 mins to Quincy where I receive the most caring and compassionate support from the nurses and doctors. Absolutely LOVE Crown OBGYN.

Super disappointed in this place. I used to have Dr. Dejesus who was a dream. I recently called as I got a positive home test and not only did the staff sound extremely burnt out /apathetic on the other end, they informed me that she is no longer a part of the practice and they don’t know where she went. The woman told me “we sent you a letter” but when I arrived today for my bloodwork they had the complete incorrect address. I have been a patient here for 8+ YEARS and you don’t have my correct info?
Then, I go down to have my bloodwork and I ask the phlebotomist if I’ll have the results today. She replies “you might.” After pressing her about next steps, she said I could try and call the office around 2:30 or check the portal. Meanwhile, I was never given info on the portal or how to access it. Imagine being in such a vulnerable position and hoping the people you trust your care and first baby to are on top of it, but surprise! They’re not. I’m honestly super bummed as I had always wanted to deliver at Sturdy (shout out to the amazing RN’s I’ve worked with there) but after today, I’ve officially transferred my care to Lifespan OBGYN.

It’s so unfortunate as I was so excited about my pregnancy & thought they would share in the same-ish energy but nope, just another miserable day for the folks at Sturdy Health.
