I would like to start this review by stating it is about the onboarding process. I’ve spent over a month going back and forth via email with staff here trying to become a client.

Limited times were provided for me to choose from to meet with a staff member (non clinician) for an intake. This was a verbal review of all of the items I listed in my new client form as well as some additional questions.

Then, I was provided another limited set of times to schedule another mysterious intake meeting. This one was five minutes at best, where the staff member just reviewed the cancellation policy with me, which is something I already had to review and acknowledge in the onboarding documents.

Then, when it’s time to schedule my initial intake with the clinician I would be seeing, I’m told that I will be billed for this meeting. In my many years of going to therapy and shopping around for clinicians when needed, I’ve never had to pay for the initial meeting with the clinician to see if we’re even remotely a match. Finding the right therapist is *hard* and this just seems like an unnecessary barrier/practice to people seeking care.

The whole process took just under a month to complete, which is significantly longer than any other counseling organization I’ve been with.

Everyone has been lovely whenever I spoke to them, and I am sure the clinicians are just as great. The overall process was so lengthy and frustrating, I am choosing to seek counseling elsewhere.

As someone who has never sought counceling, I'm finding that the help I am receiving is making dealing with life's issues a little easier! It started out slowly but now I look forward to my bi-weekly videos with Christine. She recommended I might want to speak with a case worker so I also began working with Anselma and have found her help incredibly supportive. With her help, I am with looking into various programs that may be helpful to me, I would never have found this assistance and I'm so grateful for all the help they are both providing! I think everyone could benefit from the team at Revive!!

Revive is great. The staff work together very well, not just sharing a billing account. The lead clinician provides additional ideas to the other clinicians. And they have dedicated staff for intake, scheduling, billing, and case-management.

Not the biggest fan.
A couple of the counselors need more training . I expressed my concern to admin about one of the counselors making me feel uncomfortable and like I had to keep advocating for myself , yet there was no follow up. Just surveys and feedback questions. Will keep shopping around.

Admins are quick to respond but wish there was more care behind it.
