Dr Pena is a good doctor but the receptionists are absolutely terrible. I asked for a message to be relayed to Dr. Pena. The receptionist told me that she should not relay the message to her and that I had to do it through the Stewart medical portal. She was extremely rude and nasty. Wouldn’t help me at all. Now I’m waiting for the doctor to get back to me through the portal since that was the only way to get a message to Dr. Pena. Very unhappy with my experience today with the front desk woman. Patients should not be treated this way at all.

The Doctor is awesome, but the system will not provide the doctor with the most basic equipment she needs to do her job. Furthermore they prevent her from buying the equipment. One day someone will have a problem from getting an IV bloodtest when a simple finger stick would get the same A1c. This will surely result in a lawsuit that will cost way more than the machine. But even after they lose the suit the managers will all keep their jobs.
