I liked the day shift staff. They were nice and would have conversations with you. However, I wasn't impressed with the overnight staff. They would chase patients down the hallway into the bedroom, saying we need to go to sleep. I worked at a facility like this before, and I have never seen a nurse chase down people into their rooms like that. It's borderline harassment. Do yourselves a favor and don't go here. The day shift people are fine, just not the overnight ones. It's also harassment when they try to force you to take medications in front of them. The overnight facility nurses need to double-check the way they talk to paying patients. It's not classy. I give zero starts for the overnight workers.

For how I was treated by the staff, I was very lucky to have such a pleasant experience. I was terrified of being inpatient, I was recovering from an assault and my mental health took a nosedive. The staff was kind to me and understanding of my boundaries when I needed to set them. I also appreciate the programs put together for the patients; therapy dogs, various art and sensory activities, dbt skills and more. If you require structure like I do, this is a good place to go to.

I’ve never been to a place like this before, but I can say it was a horrible experience. I had to stay inpatient for 2 weeks and everything they told me was a lie. They claimed I’d have 24/7 access to a phone and yet when I wanted to call my mom in the middle of the night I wasn’t allowed. So many aspects of this place made me feel unsafe, from the codes being called on patients dealing with anger based issues, to the literal breaking a whole through my wall, this place was horrible. I have horrible ptsd from this and I honestly think I would’ve rather have kept living through the pain then be sent there. I can’t make it through a day without reliving the horrors of this place.
When the other patient broke through my wall, I’d already had previous ptsd from slamming and loud noises, but I wasn’t allowed to leave my room despite the fist literally going through my wall. I was also roomed with someone who identified as a male, (I’m a female), and consistently joked about why they were there and how they had harmed themselves. The staff also didn’t do anything to help with my complaints to do with this roommate, they were so
I also felt very unsafe when there was patients harming themselves with colored pencils and showing it off to everyone like it was a cool tattoo or something. I felt so triggered and uncomfortable and I didn’t know what to do.
On another note, the food was very gross and we were only allowed 30 minute visits with loved ones. That’s awful considering my loved ones had to drive 2 hours just to see me for 30 minutes.
We were also only allowed to go outside a once or twice a day and the grass wasn’t even real. I felt such relief when I walked outside the first time after getting released and seeing a tree again.

Upon arrival I was strapped down to a stretcher and once I got off I was laughed at by everyone. I was absolutely horrified because I had never been in a situation like this before. There was one female worker there and I wish I remembered her name but she was so sweet to me. I went to get evaluated again and the entire time I was judged, there was no compassion shown from the staff, I mentioned how my father passed and this staff member laughed in my face.
I also was required to take off my clothes in front of 2 women who proceeded to count my “scratches” and inspect them as if I was a lab rat.

I will say that there were some very nice staff there, the nurses Mckayla, Tina and Peter, some other counselors like Mohamed, Erin, Kasey, and Sierra made a large impact on my overall wellbeing and I’m not sure if I could’ve left in 2 weeks without them. I want to especially thank Tina, she meant so much to me and she treated me like a real human instead of some kind of alien. But overall the staff members mentioned showed so much compassion and kindness, I am so thankful to have met them.

Overall this was a very poor experience and I don’t wish that even my worst enemy would be sent here.

There are great doctors and nurses and staff here. They helped me when I was down for example I was suffering for voices for many years and psych doctor Kay helped with finding a cocktail of medicine that improved my mental health and stability. Also the MHC Marsha made it such a pleasurable experience by being helpful and having a great smile everyday to lift our spirits. Just like Nathan the MHC and Carlos all these people make a great team and they know how to treat people

I was there for a week. The adjustment curve was steep for me, but once I accepted that I was just going to be there for a while, I ended up really benefiting from my stay. If you don't take advantage of the daily schedule, you will likely be very bored, as I was initially. I thought the food was pretty good and I found the routine schedule throughout the day helpful. I am grateful to have met some very nice patients and employees during my stay. There were two incidents during my stay where patients needed to be removed from the facility (one for violent and threatening outbursts, another for being sexually inappropriate). Also, the employees were a little slow to institute one-on-one monitoring of a psychotic patient that needed it. Overall, I was grateful for the experience and was glad to be there. I will miss the other patients I hung out with and wish them well.

I am aware of HIPAA laws and I work in behavioral health as a Behavioral therapist. I am all for patient confidentiality. However, this was the rudest staff I have ever spoke to. At first, they were able to answer the phone on the first ring and seemed nice. I was told by the hospital that my sister was transferred here, So I called to speak with her. Long story short I called the first time and they said she wasn’t in the system and to call back in 10 minutes. I called back in 10 minutes and was transferred three times and ended up with a woman who repeatedly told me in an attitude that she couldn’t confirm or deny that my sister was there. I wasn’t asking if my sister was there I was asking to speak with her, I know that she was there. I was going to ask a question in regards to their policy and she hung up on me mid sentence. So I called back a third time and of course it transferred me to the After being waiting for three minutes for someone to answer. I asked the woman two questions regarding their policy and she put me on hold again and then a man spoke to me all rude that I was not on the call list i had no idea. I was asking if he could have at least told her that I called and asked to see if she could put me on the call list if she wanted to and he was so rude about And then proceeded to hang up on me. How can you Help people who are experiencing behavioral health issues If you were going to be rude to people and their family members? I would never send anybody here or suggest this place based on the fact that I was treated so poorly. It took me calling back Bawling my eyes out to get some sort of answer. Instead of saying to call back in 10 minutes, why wasn’t I told that if I was not on a call list that I would not be able to speak with her?

As a person who's speaks multiple laguages I would say don't just Try any medication or drug on a person it is not the best thing too do each persons body and mind reacts differently. Thats why sometimes each person can be more successful in life Buy the right choices they make in life. I am NOT educated in the medical field but just a small opinion. Most of all some of The staff was kind.
