Dr. Simpson was very thorough with xrays and an MRI to identify a small rotator tear in my right shoulder. He explained very well the surgery required to correct the rotator tear. I was very confident in ability to perform the surgery. Dr Simpson will be closing his office soon and I could not make arrangements to be ready for the surgery before Dr. Simpson closes his office. Dr Simpson identified another doctor at Emerson hospital to perform the surgery at a later date. Dr. Simpson provided me with all the xrays, MRI and other information for the doctor at Emerson Hospital to perform the surgery. Dr. Simpson is an amazing doctor. He always describes exactly the pros and cons of each kind of treatment, and helps the patient to figure out which option is best. His staff go out of their way to fit you in when it's necessary.
I had a bruised meniscus which was making it very painful to walk, and ultimately came to the conclusion that a cortisone shot was the best treatment to alleviate swelling. The next, I'm completely pain-free, thanks to his care.

Dr. Simpson performed my Achilles tendon surgery and the whole experience was great. The nurses at Nashoba Valley couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating, and Dr. Simpson did a fantastic job on my tendon. I’m 5 weeks post op and feel great. The staff at his office are always so nice and helpful, and I love going there for my check-ups. I was nervous to have surgery but am very glad I did.
