I brought my special needs son here after his regular doctor's office suggested that I do since they couldn't see him and it was a holiday weekend coming up. The receptionist was friendly, polite, professional and helpful. We did have somewhat of a wait before being seen, but I expected that since we were a walk- in , but it wasn't too bad, When it was time for my son to be seen a very nice nurse took us to the exam room and asked why he was there, she was polite, professional and patient while obtaining nose and throat cultures from him, My son was then seen by Nurse Practitioner Joel Furnanz, NP. He was polite and professional when speaking to myself and patience when speaking to my son, but there was a problem with miscommunication, and this may be on both sides, my son can't swallow pills or capsules, they have to be able to be crushed or opened up and the contents put into pudding or yogurt and when I told Mr. Furnanz this he asked if I could just put them in the pudding and I said that I could, meaning I could open them up and squeeze the liquid out into the pudding, but it turns out that you can't do this. This would be very dangerous to do with this medication especially with my son, so make sure there's good communication on both sides, so there's no mixup or confusion. Other than that, everyone was Friendly, polite,professional and helpful. The place was well maintained and clean.

Went in today at 440pm. I went to the desk and the lady just looked at me and did not say anything so I said hi. She says hi. I said I need to be seen and she says we are not taking anymore patients, I said I thought you closed at 5? she responds yes but we take our last patient at 440pm. I looked at my watch and said it is 440pm. With an attitude she says we had a full lobby before.(no one in lobby at this point) I said ok thanks and start to walk out. As I’m walking out she laughingly says we are open at 9am tomorrow. Just unbelievably rude. I’ll never go back, I’d rather drive to Leominster, they were amazing and friendly.

I've had to visit the urgent care 3 times this week for my family between colds, pneumonia, and infections. The staff is always friendly and the doctors are intentional and explain everything so thoroughly. I wish they could be our primary care doctors! We've also gone here in the past and while sometimes there is a wait, I would say it is worth it to get such friendly doctors with great bedside manner.

Had the lovely pleasure of seeing Jo yesterday cuz I had acid reflux melting my throat out. Her answer was to shame me for being a smoker and then scolded me for being too poor to buy antacids #classy it's funny cuz she as. Bit overweight and I didn't need to shame her for her addiction to eating too much, but she quickly shamed me for being addicted to smoking. And and yes of course I'll come back cuz despite these deficiencies I still got better care than Heywood hospital could provide. I'll be sure to ask to see any doctor except JO too

Horrible. Showed up at 6pm, they close at 7:30. Just wanted to get a strep throat test, the nurse came out to “ get me” and said they don’t have anyone to give me a quick test and told me to go to the er. Waste of my time, why couldn’t the lady checking me in tell me no one was available instead of making me wait 30 minutes just to be sent away!

This place is horrible I DO NOT recommend, I was seen yesterday and I was having trouble breathing because my tonsils were so swollen. I was told “stop and calm down” but I told them I couldn’t breath and she tapped the other lady and they looked back and laughed me. My tonsils are still extremely infected and I went in found out I had a virus I went 1 other time they gave me nothing as well… now my whole bottom of my face and throat is swollen, I now have too seek medical help when I just went yesterday. Not to mention I got there before 4-5 other people and somehow they were all seen before me? Knowing I was having issues breathing, the lady said 10 minutes until the test results were up I was waiting from about 35-40 minutes when people who got there after me were walking out. I had asked for them to send me everything on my chart, they said no I was in so much pain they didn’t do anything but laugh… too add on I found out the day after I wasn’t sick I was pregnant and I told them there was a possibility and they didn’t care and they refused tests besides Covid I asked for flu they said they would I looked at my charts and never did flu! DONT!!! Go here

This place went downhill fast! I do NOT recommend! I had an appointment and it was canceled without a good reason. No call to reschedule or given any reason so I had to call myself to find out! I was told the nurse was simply not in that day so now I have to wait two more months for another date that will be canceled again. They want me out I never been so offended in my life! I have done nothing wrong! Doctors suck! I’m finding a new doctor these ones are unprofessional! Oh and I still don’t have a primary care doctor after the one I had and saw ONCE left! Their Urgent Care is the WORST! Very unprofessional staff the doctor rolled their eyes at me. Super rude. All doctors in Gardner suck! Be warned!! I give zero stars if I could!

I usually hate complaining but I need to so others aren’t shooed away like me. I went to this urgent care Thursday evening because I knew I had pneumonia. I had all the symptoms and was not feeling good at all. I went when I could, given I have 4 kids and urgent care is the last place I would go to for fun. Anyways, I got in she asked me my symptoms and she checked my heart and lungs and said I don’t think it’s anything serious. She said it might be something to do with my upcoming appointment that my primary care could check out(which was a week away) she smiled at me and said I could run some tests but you’ll get those done soon. And sent me off. I felt stupid for going there. I felt sick off and on the next couple days. Saturday night I tried to work and left earlier pale as a ghost and shaking. Sunday came around and I was nervous to go to the er because of my experience with urgent care. I went in around 11 pm to Heywood. They were excellent and listened. I was in bad shape and the doctor told me I have bad pneumonia and had to stay also I had sepsis. I was in so much pain it was unbearable. They originally were giving me morphine for pain. I stayed there from Sunday to Wednesday. (Heywood) I will NEVER go back to this urgent care. LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS!
