I had an MRI of my knee, the front desk lady very nice and very helpful!
The male tech however… he unnecessarily forcefully jerked my knee to try to strap it down to the table, I yelled because it was tremendously painful immediate tears , then he did it again!!! I purposely had it resting in bent position thinking he was going to put something under my knee but without asking me if I could straighten it or any warning at all he was extremely rough and hurt me more than I was. Not even a little towel or anything under my knee for support, little does he know if he allowed me to have something under it it would’ve helped stabilize and relax my knee so I actually may have been able to straighten it more than what he did to me. I cried the entire MRI. I couldn’t sleep at all last night. Now this morning my knee is swollen, I can’t bend it at all, I can’t put any pressure on it and I’ve been crying in pain all morning. This guy screwed up my knee even more than it was!!!
WTH I’m so pissed!!!

The Wilkens Outpatient Center is a member of Cape Cod Healthcare. It is a full service medical facility, no emergency facilities but does provide x-rays, CAT Scans and MRI exams outside of the Cape Cod Hospital facility. The facility is new, well maintained, Nnest, clean and convienant. Appointments are scheduled through your primary care physician.

I would never recommend this center to anyone. I had an MRI November 19,2022 in the early evening and have never in my life been treated so rudely. The female and male techs should Not be in the health care profession clearly by their lack of empathy and power trip they displayed. Ordering me around plus telling me I had to wear their earplugs which don’t work. The little man got four inches away from my face and told me if I were going to go in “his”machine I would be wearing their earplugs . I laid on the bed and he proceeded to yank both my ears down and shoved the ear plugs into my ears which then proceeded to fall out. My ears were sore for the rest of the evening. I tried to get a hold of a supervisor and they couldn’t even find time to discuss this incident with me. My brother in law is an orthopedic surgeon and my late father in law was the very first one ever at the CapeCod Hospital many years ago. I highly recommend going somewhere else even if it’s a little further drive.

First time at this facility and was totally impressed. Lovely, airy waiting room with beautiful artwork. Staff were pleasant, accommodating and competent. Wait time was minimal. Wouldn't hesitate to go there again if needed.

Everyone I encountered from the front desk, imaging, ultrasound, to the NP were incredibly comforting, kind, friendly and extremely thorough. Last week was my first mammogram. Today it was confirmed that I do need a biopsy. This is a frightening experience for any woman and I'm very grateful to feel like I'm in good hands. Highly recommend!!!!

The staff could not possibly have been nicer. The facility was beautiful, clean, and welcoming. This was my first appointment of this type, and they answered all of my questions, and made me feel extremely comfortable.

The most unprofessional place I've ever been. I was told by my gynecologist I had a benign tumor on my breast and needed a mammogram and ultrasound. When I got to Wilkins, I checked in and then they told me the woman who checked in after me was going to be seen first because I was "late" (which obviously made no sense). I had no extra time to spare due to work so they literally made me reschedule.
During my next appointment, they gave me my ultrasound and dismissed me without a mammogram. I was confused why I didn't receive a mammogram. When I read my paperwork I noticed they wrote, "come back ay 40". I feel as though I wasn't taken seriously due to my age. They were completely unprofessional, rude and dismissive. I will not return. Apparently I can't until I'm 40 years old anyway.

In 71 years , I've never had such a good experience having blood drawn. This morning I saw a young man named Kareem . I didn't even realize he had drawn the blood. I was so impressed that I mentioned it to a neighbor .She said that she knew exactly who I meant and that she always tries to see him when she has blood drawn .Excellent at his job and he is also exceedingly pleasant.
