Dr. Brown is simply the best! I have been a patient for around 30 years and have continuously been impressed with the level of care received by Dr. Brown and his team. No exaggeration whatsoever, they are simply and truthfully amazing!

Dr Brown and staff are outstanding providers and I have been a patient for 25 years. A recent experience showed them going above and beyond for my last minute initial appointment and a follow up at a local hospital Dr Brown scheduled for me the same day.

It's a shame that I have to write a negative review of Lexington Health Stop, as Dr. Brown is an excellent doctor and was my primary care doctor throughout my childhood/adolescence. He is very personable and we'd have excellent conversations during my annual check-up. Unfortunately, I had the worst experience visiting Health Stop last week...simply getting a flu shot! The person at the front desk could not be bothered to answer the simple question of whether my insurance would cover the flu shot completely. She kept saying I shouldn't worry about it and to calm down. Normally it wouldn't cost anything out-of-pocket, but with my unique health insurance, it would cost me $40-45 at local pharmacies, so I have to check with each specific provider to see how much it would cost me. When my insurance went through and I asked how much it would cost, she took me to one of the patient rooms, sat me down, and took my temperature without my permission, as if I were having a panic attack. She said she had been working there for decades and kept saying it wouldn't cost me anything...yet couldn't be bothered to verify and answer my simple question of how much the flu shot would cost me. And, unfortunately, neither could Dr. Brown. An experience full of rudeness, dismissiveness, and insensitivity. Needless to say, I will not be going back there.

Dr. Brown is one of the most competent, kindest, wisest doctors with whom I have worked over the years (and I have seen many -- I'm 58). Our family has used doctor Brown for at least 10 years. My husband sees him, and my mother worked with him before she passed away in 2014, and my niece saw him when she was in college in Cambridge. We know other families who have worked with doctor Brown for many years as well. Although Health Stop is a drop in center, because of Dr. Brown's work ethic, his excellent knowledge and pragmatic approach, those who drop in often stay and bring in their families (as we and our friends have done).

While travelling through Massachusetts, I decided to spend some time and see Lexington and Concord. Unfortunately, during my time in the Boston area, I was plagued with excessive swelling in my legs. Initially, I attributed it to the extremely hot weather that was prevalent at that time but, when it did not improve, I solicited help from Dr Brown. After a close examination, he prescribed some medication and did a blood test to rule out anything serious. Within a few days, I was on the mend and, within a week, I was back to normal.

Dr Brown is the most thorough and dedicated doctor that I have experienced.

You absolutely cannot find a better doctor.

While traveling around the USA and Canada in your 70's can be trying, finding a doctor when you need one can be very stressful. I needed to find a doctor near Hanscom AFB where we were staying as we passed through the Boston, MA area. When I found the other review on Dr. Brown I decided that he is the one I wanted to address my issues. He is every bit the kind, caring, and it seems, long forgotten way that doctors used to be. He took the time on a Sunday morning to see me. He cured my issue and made me feel a part of his community.

Have been going to Dr Brown for over 10 years now , Even now in this COVID situation he has been so helpful . One of the best doctors around the area and the best part is he listens to you and never recommends any unwanted medicine or procedures.
