I called due to my partner being in mental health crisis. I asked on the phone if psych evals were able to be done within the facility; individual on the phone responded yes. When I asked him how to proceed (as in when could I drive my partner there), I was told I could NOT bring my partner to the facility. We wanted to avoid an ambulance so as not to exacerbate the crisis. Rather
than respect this wish, AND despite my partner being non-violent, and despite my requests NOT to, they dispatched SIX ARMED POLICE OFFICERS to my residence.

This not only thoroughly distressed my partner, but scared me, AND drew the significant attention of neighbor residents. The officers acknowledged the non-violent demeanor of my partner, and STILL took him in the back of their unit vehicle.

Instead of taking him to this clinic (despite being called BY this clinic) they took my partner to St Luke's where he sat in the ER hallway for three days before release. He never made it to the facility and they never conducted a formal eval, or followed up. This also drastically added to the air of 'crisis' and was in ZERO way helpful to anyone. Don't even get me started on the subsequent insurance battles, and significant medical cost that this useless, multi-day saga cost us.

Why offer emergency behavioral service if you're going to reroute them through law enforcement and the hospital? The handling of this entire situation was counterintuitive and tone deaf to the level of sensitivity and compassion most mental crisis requires. I called them for assistance, and we received increased crisis. I could not more strongly recommend AGAINST this facility. DO. BETTER.
