Positive experience even if sick! Easy check in process. Nurse and James were fantastic! Phenomenal care and great alternative when primary care office is not open.
Tip: Go at the beginning of the day right before they open. Cuts down on the waiting time.

Urgent care facilities are popping up everywhere and they are great.
You don't need to go to the ER which can take forever at times. Every time I have been to one it has been a pleasant experience. I just need to find out if you can make one your primary care. Or if you can use an Urgent care and get someone there to OK a specialist. If anyone knows please pass on the information.

This Urgent Care would have probably 5 stars if the check-in process was not so slow and if you didn’t have to wait for so long to see the provider. Really no patients. I waited 15 minutes to check in behind one person. Then I waited and waited and waited in the room for the provider. I ended up asking how many providers were working. I would have understood if told there was only one, but there were two. Very slow…almost as if at a packed Urgent Care. Except hardly anyone here and lots of staff sitting and chatting causally. Service could have been better.

I would give the front end staff and the nurses 5 stars on customer service (prompt, courteous and friendly), but the Dr who was supposed to see me needs to be better with time management and basic customer service. I waited 45 minutes in the exam room, waiting to be seen after the friendly nurse took my vitals. This was during a time when the place wasn’t even packed in the lobby. I came out of the room asking the nurses at the station, how much longer because I have to leave? The nurses turned to look at a small room next to their station and told the Dr. that the next patient who has been waiting has to leave, and the Dr. was silent! Dead silent! Not a word was said! The nurses and I were waiting awkwardly for a response. Nothing. So I said I really have to leave to pick up my child because the school is closing, so the nurses made the decision to let me go. Again, not a word from the doctor who was within earshot of this conversation, but just hiding behind a wall. If only the doctor had considered communicating an estimated time to be seen, I would’ve appreciated that. But to intentionally not communicate anything, when I’m just a few feet away within earshot is piss poor manners. Again, this doesn’t reflect on the nurses. They did what they could. I typically have reasonable and great experience with the Mass General system, but this experience with the silent Dr. is far below the standard of care I’ve experienced from another MGB Urgent Care facility. I asked for a refund, because the service I got is not worth the $100 co-pay I paid upfront.

Got there at 7:30, they close at 8:30. Went to register my son and when I asked if the X-ray tech was onsite, all of a sudden she said they were at capacity. I noted when they have been at capacity in the past they have a sign on the door. She just stared at me and sent us broken hand and all on our way! After we left and were sitting in the car, she put the sign capacity sign on the door…

Having this urgent care clinic near home is amazing. The last thing anyone wants to do when they are not feeling well is wait in a medical office to be seen. Last week, I was able to walk right in and was greeted by a friendly receptionist, she took my information and I was brought in 5-10minutes later. Seen by a provider 5-10minutes later. Everyone I interacted with was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.
