I've been going to Marjorie for about a year and she always takes care of me. Good cuts and good talks! I tell her all the time how shocked I am that of all the barbers I've been to she is the only one who hasn't butchered my beard.

I haven't had a haircut in almost 5 years, and left my ponytail behind on the floor after getting the best haircut of my life from Marjorie. I was ready for a change and she is the first person to ever bring my idea to reality. This is the best haircut I ever had, and will be back regularly for maintenance. Thanks!

I used to bring my son here to get a cut and the service was good. She washed his hair before the cut since he’s a swimmmer. I booked an appointment on a busy Sat specifically to have his hair washed and cut again. I arrived 10 min early and was told they wouldn’t wash his hair before the cut and there was nothing they could do. Disapppointing and poor customer service but I’m happy they are so busy they don’t need our service. I won’t be returning. Adding to note that even though Remedy couldn’t accommodate me - the owner/Booksy charged me a cancellation fee. I didn’t cancel the appointment - they turned me away because they couldn’t accommodate me. Now I’m still dealing with a $30 “cancellation” fee.

I was able to conveniently make an appointment for a quick hair cut and straight razor shave with Marjorie the day before. Online reservations are great.

I showed up on time and Marjorie was there to greet me (her lab Clover was, too!). I saw down and we quickly hit off an easy-going and fun conversation which, along with the service, lasted around 40 minutes.

Payment was easy with Venmo, but next time I'll bring cash.

After being in the area for nearly two years, and looking for a place to get a nice straight razor shave with hot towels, my search has come to an end. I highly recommend The Remedy!

I've been seeing Margie since spending extended visits on the Cape. I was very nervous about seeing a new barber as I've been with mine in Florida for many years. After the first visit I was immediately relieved and happy to find an excellent barber that I can trust during my visits. Not only is the quality of the cut unlike any I've had but the sense of home and family the barbershop provides is comforting. If you are in search of a barber I'd recommend making an appointment with this gem.

Marjorie is an excellent barber and very personable. If you don't know what exactly you want she will help you figure out what works for you and your hair type. She takes pride in making her customers look good. The straight razor shave is a relaxing and worthwhile experience. You won't regret going to The Remedy.
