At first I thought I was not going to have a good experience here because of all the negative reviews I read. The wait was long but only because I came way too early for my appointment. I gave myself extra time to fill out the application form. My appointment was at 1:30 and was seen at just after 2 o'clock. They were a little slammed after lunch hour. Once I was seen my oral hygienist (Agelina) was super pleasant and did my x-rays. Waiting on the Dentist (Dr. Owens) was a little longer than I wanted but once she got there, she sped right through advising me of the next step was going to be. Overall, my visit to the Dentist was better than expected and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Beware of dr (dentist) owens. I saw her in August for a cracked tooth she told me it was her first day there and she had transferred from another state. A little worried at this point. I show her the tooth that I causing me pain and cracked in half. She and her assistant take 3 xrays then dr ownes proceeds to tell me tooth number 10 is causing the pain and has a pin needle size cavity.... Okay also at the beginning of this they made me pay before even being seen... After she tells me it's tooth 10 and not tooth 13 I leave... Very next morning tooth 13 breaks whole back half gone. Proceed to this week I've had really bad pain in tooth 13 and it's been an absess I go to plant city suncoast and see dr Mamta Sehgal. She tells me tooth number 10 does NOT have a cavity and that tooth 13 needs to be extracted as I told dr owens previously back in August. So because she's to incompetent to do her job I've been in excruciating pain since August of 2024 finally getting an appointment in. The dentist at plant city also states that dr ownes put all 3 xrays in reverse picture and upside down. Clearly unsure of how to do her job. Plus after I left this place sends me a 50 bill after I already paid them 170 something to be seen by someone who was trying to tell me which tooth was causing me pain. 🙃👋

Update: February 18th... Still nothing. Going there is a waste of time. Good thing I'm not in pain & unable to take pain meds due to a liver condition. Oh wait!! I am!! And I do!! And I can't even get an appoinment at the other locations. Seriously, does anyone that works there know how a phone works? I am only going to this place bc of my insurance. Otherwise I truly would not be bothering. No way to talk to any person what so ever. You should be completely ashamed of yourselves.

Went on OCTOBER 29 2024. After the evaluation, I was told the referral would be sent to the Endodontist. It is DECEMBER 6! The Endodontist still has yet to receive it. Everytime I called Alex tells me the lady, Gabriella, that does referrals, only does them on Tuesdays. IF, be IF the phone is ever answered they pick up & hang up. I can't even get to a supervisor. What now? Even if your life depended on it... I would not recommend this place.

Doctor refer me to the pain management clinic. They took two months. They never send the referral Went to the office talk to the supervisor They send me a referral To a different doctor for different things they don’t know what they’re doing next time. I’m going to speak with a manager. They’re completely lost. They never pick up the phone. I’ve been calling for a week and nobody pick up the phone only Farmacy.

The dental dept is a joke, you have to go in person to schedule an appt because they do not answer the phone at all. Then when you make the appt it’s for 3 months later. They waited until the day of my appt to call me to inform me my procedure was not covered by my insurance and I took off from work for no reason. And the front desk receptionist is horrible at her job as well, rushing you to give information when she makes you wait in line while she cleans. Literally hate this place

Worst dentist I have ever been to. I got a crown on my front tooth last year, at the time no one disclosed to me that I only had 30 days to get a refund or something done to fix the tooth. The assistant at the time told me my crown would either be too dark or too light. I payed $900 on my credit card, money that I didn’t have to get this tooth fixed. It needed to be done and I thought this would be the most affordable place to go since they claim they are “income based”. The color match is horrible and now I can’t even get a partial refund. These are the worst people I have ever worked with. My current dentist has even said the color match is awful. I will now be paying $800 at my new dentist who is AMAZING to fix PALM RIVERS mistakes.
