The first appointments went well. Danielle was very professional and answered all my questions, but after she created an exercise and stretching program for me, the appointments turned into a practice of those exercises and not much new information or treatments. I didn't see any alternative treatment offered to the patients (like FSM, tens units, massages, manipulation etc.) I also noticed how all the therapists are taking care of 3 or 4 people at the same time and it just feels like they lost their passion for their profession due to so much pressure and work. I was left alone and felt like just another number. I witnessed several patients doing their exercises wrong and nobody was correcting their posture or movements. It's more a business of quantity and not much quality. I decided that paying a $50 copay just to practice the exercises and stretches that were given to me the first day was not convenient and cost effective for me, so I decided to stop the therapy and practice at home for free.
I'll get more from a personal trainer at my gym, and Danielle agreed with that. It's sad to see health facilities lack their love for helping out people in a caring and authentic way and turn into a money making business only. I imagine that booking several patients at the same time, is a corporate decision that affects the therapists and especially the patients.

Where to begin....Having been both a PT Asst. and patient, I can eagerly say what a positive experience it was at Cora, N. Lakeland!! I actually enjoyed myself!! The staff, from Courtney (Reception), to the PT staff - Lloyd, Mickey, and Danielle, made the appointment time fly. The environment was fun and positive....I even made PT patient friends during my PT time slot - I received PT for 2 consecutive surgeries, so I was there from early July through late September. That's hard to believe upon reflection as it really went by so fast. Thank you all again for everything!!!
I recommend this PT location for sure...I hope this helps all who read this post.

I've been in a Registered nurse force 47 years. There's in acute specialist, surgery, and ER. I've been in several accidents in both shoulders, back surgery, and both knees replaced. I have never had the therapy anywhere like what I've got in Cora. I wouldn't go in any other place.

I had a PT evaluation and treatment at Cora PT in Lakeland for my right hip bursitis.

My experience was very satisfactory. I was managed well by everyone in the clinic, from the receptionist Courtney to the Physical Therapists, Lloyd, Danielle, Mickey and Reah as well as PTA Rich and student Kylie.

After 6 weeks of exercises and therapy done at the clinic as well as at home, I recovered from my pain and discomfort and my muscle strength increased.

I really appreciate the excellent service they rendered to me as a patient at Cora PT. I hope they continue to serve the people in the community who needs rehabilitation.

After 20 minutes with my mom the nurse started interrogating about my mom’s living situation a bit intrusively. Then the manager came out and said he did not do Alzheimer’s patients and they escorted her out. So don’t recommend this place to clients with memory issues. They knew they were not letting her come back but proceeded to ask DCF like questions as to who she lives with etc etc and if she owns her home etc and I live with her. So they just being nosy or Karen or vigilante DCF but sure they discriminated against my mom due to her Alzheimer’s and she was very cooperative and nice. So zero stars

Very happy with my experience at Cora. I have been doing therapy here since December and do not have one complaint about them! I recommend Cora to anyone that needs physical therapy. All the staff from the front desk to the therapist are amazing and very helpful!
