Valley Medical in Greenfield, Ma is terrible. They are like the fast food joint of healthcare. You go in for your appointment and tell him your health issues. They don't listen to what you're saying and don't care to either. Then they send in a prescription for you, to shut you up, or they tell you that they do not see any of the health problems you've described and send you home. I have been misdiagnosed, misunderstood, mistreated, and made to feel inferior and dumb by doctors and staff. I have been publicly made a fool of by staff and a certain doctor there, who seems to be only money hungry and not actually caring and professional. While there are surely some caring, dedicated workers there, I haven't come across many in the 15+ years that I have been stuck there for lack of other options.

While the doctors, nurses, and nurse practitioners at Valley Medical Group are generally attentive and skilled, my overall experience with this practice has been very disappointing due to its administrative practices. Valley Medical Group appears more focused on maximizing revenue than on prioritizing the well-being of its patients or employees. Overbilling is a frequent issue, and appointments are often canceled at the last minute. Additionally, the practice frequently changes primary care providers without notice, resulting in a serious lack of continuity in care.

When providers are switched, Valley Medical Group has also refused to renew necessary prescriptions, placing patients in difficult situations. This caregiver turnover is largely due to how poorly they treat their healthcare providers, making it difficult for them to retain quality professionals. Rather than addressing this issue, the administrative team seems to expect patients to adjust and be “flexible,” placing the burden of their staffing issues on patients instead of addressing the root problem.

Regrettably, the administrative team has not been helpful in resolving these issues. Instead of working with patients to improve their care, they often shift blame, creating an unnecessarily adversarial environment. If you review their online reputation, you’ll notice a steady decline in patient satisfaction, reflecting their troubling priorities. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Valley Medical Group for primary care unless you are in a situation where options are limited.

This review is for Lisa Trimby the PT. She's a life changer! Understands EDS, neurodivergence, neuromuscular, concussion - so much! I was in a bit of despair about my muscular pain and mobility limitations before meeting Lisa and now I can see some paths forward that are more hopeful.

I have had great doctors at this medical group, and although they, like most places, suffer from high turnover and a lack of providers for many specialties, I am very appreciative of their primary care physicians.

I have had several bad experiences now at valley med (greenfield location) due to lack of care with my special needs child. I usually do not leave bad reviews but I think this is something important enough to make that step. I am very disappointed and will be transferring his care to a different office immediately.

When I call I get attitudes I don't even want to call anymore I have severe pain going on I called to make an earlier appointment because I have not been feeling well. She is like well you have an appointment with your primary next Thursday and today is over a week away. I have seen my primary for this and nothing was done so what the hell am I suppose to do. I guess I maybe looking for another doctor I don't need the headache.

They won't refill my antidepressants, and I'm not going to risk the 50/50 chance of getting a rude, and uncaring staff member on the call anymore just so I can operate like a normal person. No amenities for making digital appointments when too far away. Doctors, and staff are absolutely apathetic to depression. Incredibly unhelpful with prescriptions even when you do have approved refills. If you're thinking of switching doctors then you might as well do it sooner than later, because they've been like this for years.
