Absolutely, deeply unprofessional behavior from the front staff and reception here. A good friend of mine was put on HRT by these people, and then had his medication withheld from him despite him providing them with all of the information that they asked of him, and more. He had been recommended this facility by his PCP, yet they refused to help him unless he had a referral from his PCP--which he did--and then they insisted he had to change his primary doctor to one in their own facility. When he made it clear that his PCP said he wouldn't have to, they refused to transfer his prescription to another facility, and instead continued to insist that he switch to them. He contacted them countless times, and on multiple occasions was hung up on, talked down to, patronized, and had his time wasted. They do not treat their patients with a level of responsibility, instead acting like grown adults are children who don't understand what they're doing with their own bodies. He had several appointments canceled within 24hrs of the meeting time, with absolutely no warning or reason given. This is both a huge insult to his time, and a horribly unprofessional behavior.
If you're looking for a new PCP, I cannot recommend against this place more. Keep searching, do not waste your time on this facility that does not seem to care about its patients.

I’ve been going here since 2020 when I was pregnant with my daughter and now we see the same physician. I can honestly say this is the best experience I’ve had with a medical provider thus far. The staff and even reception are exceptional, and the providers do not disappoint.

The doctors, nurses and medical staff are amazing. The front desk/reception area is horrible. And I feel terrible saying it but it’s true. I am pregnant. Had an appt canceled in January because my doctor wasn’t in. Totally fine, I already had my next appt scheduled in feb in 4 weeks and I told them I had my ultrasound the next week.
They called to try and reschedule, I said if you have an opening before my next appt in February, sure. and they said the next available appt was the exact day of my already scheduled appt in February . So I said yeah I already have an appt that day so we will just not reschedule the one that was canceled in January. I got a couple calls in the following week and I answered one and it was for the same issue. They said my doctor wanted to reschedule that first appt in January and I said actually on the portal, it clearly says that my doctor was fine with not rescheduling it since my ultrasound was the following week and I had an appt in February. They said oh, do you want to schedule one for March and I said no, not at the moment, I’m in the middle of moving so don’t know my dates. Fast forward to after my ultrasound, I was checking out the portal and they canceled my February appt. I called, the receptionist had no clue and there was no communication on why it was canceled. The receptionist said they would call me back very soon once they figured it out. Week later. I messaged on the portal to my doctor, she did not ask them to cancel so she was just as confused and asked the front desk to reach out to me and make another appointment. I’ve called a couple times and can’t reach a anyone. Now it’s been two weeks and I have called again, clicked on the number for appointments, and the person that answered stated they will have to leave a message for the front desk because they make the appointments. I just called the appointment line so why can’t the appointment be made. Now I’m extremely frustrated. Hadn’t had an obgyn appointment for my baby since December and probably won’t get one until March because my doctor books out.

I had a new patient appointment recently and was very impressed with the time and attention the N-CP, the nurse and the front desk staff took with me. No one was rushed, I felt listened to and valued as a patient. Follow up tests across the street and subsequently at the hospital were easy and results were immediately available via MyChart. Follow-up communication with the medical staff was also easy via MyChart. All around an excellent experience.

Been a patient at Oxbow for several years now. I have never had better medical care. Patient centered, LGBTQ+ friendly, HAES friendly, and trauma informed. Preventative approach as much as insurance allows. I feel like a collaborator in my healthcare, not just a patient.
