I don’t recommend this practice if you are looking for a stress-fee way to manage your mental health. The intake process and requirement to provide a credit card before even receiving a consultation was not something I’ve experienced. Then, meeting with Carolyne, she was late to every session I had scheduled with no apology or would blame it on tech issues each time. Also not a culturally sensitive practitioner in regards to sexuality and gender identity. My last session I called to reschedule, but could not reach anyone. So I left an email. I received no response and was instead charged a $150 cancellation fee. I only became aware of it when I went to request a prescription refill, and was told I had to wait until I had another appointment for a refill. Going days without my medication when I’ve met with the practitioner regularly enough to automatically send refills to my pharmacy. This practice is all about the $$ and not patient well being. Each session felt rushed and not very personable. Beware.

Mind Garden was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad I listened. I've been meeting with Carolyne for a few months now and she truly is the best. She's professional and very accommodating. I've struggled with anxiety and depression for some years and tried different providers but never seemed to click with them. From the very first appointment, Carolyne was so attentive and just made me feel relaxed. I've been able to open up to her so much and our sessions always make me feel so hopeful and optimistic. With her, she truly cares and I don't feel like I'm just another patient she is seeing for the money. Thank you so much Carolyne for your care and compassion. 5 stars all the way.

I can't recommend Carolyne highly enough. As my psychiatric NP, she has been instrumental in helping me manage my depression and anxiety. Carolyne combines medication and lifestyle changes to promote holistic wellness. She is extremely knowledgeable, caring and validating. Her practical coping strategies and compassionate approach gave me hope and empowered me to take control of my mental health. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her top-notch services to anyone struggling. She goes above and beyond!

A loved one of mine attempted to get care through this practice. In order to even schedule an appointment, prior to providing any information you are required to provide a credit card. You are not provided any pricing information until you complete the intake paperwork, in our case this paperwork was not provided to us until less than 24 hours prior to the appointment which in this case means that we were forced to keep the appointment or to pay a cancellation fee which we were provided no clarity on. When we indicated that we were interested in cancelling due to pricing concerns as a consultation with insurance was going to be 200+$ out of pocked, we were then charged a 150$ cancellation fee. We did not hear from the provider what the fee was going to be until the charge hit the credit card. We have since tried to reach out to the provider and they have ignored us. Had more information been provided when we indicated that we wanted to cancel, we may not have decided to given the exorbitant cancellation fee. This experience has left us feeling like this provider does not actually care about patients and is only interested in collecting your money, because if she was interested in helping people she would AT LEAST be clear about her pricing and cancellation costs. Stay away from this scam.

I've seen them for several months now. The kindest and most attentive mental health service I've encountered! They were very considerate to my needs as someone who has ADHD and is self-employed. Previous providers gave advice and prescriptions that felt less tailored for me individually. They put much more care into their mental health assessments, and were even understanding when I made scheduling errors and was held up for an appointment.

Carolyn is very kind and compassionate, and I believe she is truly helping a lot of people! I am glad that I chose her as my provider because I feel validated and heard during all our sessions. I have struggled with my anxiety for a long time, and with her help I’ve been able to battle it, and come out of my shell. Thank you, Mind Garden!

Was not given the price for my appointment until within 24 hours of the appointment. I was quoted $180-$370 for a consultation, with insurance. Excuse me? I immediately canceled my appointment as soon as I got this information and then received a cancelation fee of $150 that was charged to the card you HAVE to put on file or they won't confirm your appointment. This company should be ashamed of itself for taking advantage of people who are just trying to get help. I would never trust them to actually care about the patient. Please avoid this scam.
