I had a foreign body (metal) removed from my eye. My experience with Dr Alfred and everyone at the practice was perfect. I liked his affect. I appreciated his ability to realize we didn't need to have a conversation about the weather to calm me down. In and out in 10min without feeling rushed at all.

Mary Jo welcomed us and was super helpful getting us all checked in. Dr. Andrews was perhaps the best optometrist I have ever seen in my 70 years. Friendly, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable, he identified my eye situations quickly, and was very pro-active in making a plan going forward.

I have dry eyes and I am monitored every 6 months for this. But that is not the most important part of my care. I have LUPUS and I need to be monitored for that because one of the drugs I take can cause blindness if it is not monitored. My nephrologist and Dr Alfred work together to monitor my eye health. I am also a diabetic and he checks my blood vessels to make sure I’m not going blind because of high A1C. I had 4 different eye tests on my visit on 12/20/24.

I believe Dr Alfred has my best interest in the care he gives his patients.

I was referred by my regular ophthalmologist when I went in for a 6th month check-up following cataract lens surgery. It’s in the same building - so I went over & got an appointment within two days. The Eye Center staff ran tests & then I had a consult with Dr. Alfred. The procedure he recommended is not covered by Medicare or my supplemental insurance and is cost prohibitive for me given my financial circumstances. I guess it’s a matter of figuring out a cost-effective alternative that will work for me.

The staff there seems excellent and helpful.
