The CRYOKNEE helped tremendously in my recovery by reducing pain and swelling. Louis provided excellent customer service! He explained everything and was quick to respond to questions and provide support. I recommend that anyone having knee surgery use this device as it really makes post op recovery much better. I appreciate the great service provided by Louis.

Poor customer care after delivery. They charged my insurance over 8000 dollars and now want me to pay a 250 rental fee on top of that. Not as described by the person delivering the equipment . They came the same day as surgery and caught me in a drugged daze. I told the lady I didn’t want the equipment if I had to pay and she assured me that the insurance would cover it. But apparently o signed and agreed to pay a 250 rental fee? What was the 8000 plus charged to my insurance for then? I feel like you could buy the equipment for. A fraction of that amount. A cool machine no doubt but not 8000 plus cool. No wonder insurance and the med system is in the state it is in. SCAM SCAM SCAM .

If I could give zero stars I would. My husband had a knee replacement almost 7 months ago. Josie came to the hospital to deliver a "Cooling Machine" that we were supposed to take home and use for 6 weeks. She told us "IF Medicare doesn't pay for it the most you would owe would be $200". She had my husband sign the paperwork while he was under strong pain medication and coming off of anesthesia. The paperwork is very deceiving! I feel like the salesperson was deceiving! I was present and heard everything she said. So, we get this machine home and after awhile it wasn't working properly. We called the company to come pick it up early, because it was just sitting in our way. We TOLD them it was not cooling and giving an error message. So, Medicare DID end up paying on the machine. We thought we were done. Today, we receive a text message saying we owed the company $200. At first I thought maybe it was a scam. So, I called Kinex and was told that we DO owe them $200. And, nowhere in their notes does it say that we called to say the machine wasn't working. That's why we had them pick it up three weeks early. So, they are telling us that even though Medicare approved and paid for the rent of the machine, there is supposedly a waiver saying that they can still charge us $200. I am thinking this is illegal... that they would have to accept what Medicare paid and not charge us extra. It was ridiculous the total amount they charged in the first place. Why would we want to pay for a machine that was not working?! We are not happy and will refuse services from this company in the future! Our advice is to just use ice packs and don't bother renting a cooling machine from this company!

Nope. And then when you try to call you get stuck in voicemail hell.

My equipment arrived a day late and the cooling machine is complete crap. If you are supposed to get one of those little ice chests with hoses tell them to keep it. Who the hell is gonna fill the tiny chest with ice all the time? Garbage.

And it only goes halfway around. 2 good old school ice packs do a better job. And I’m getting billed for this? Not happy. I’ve had knee procedures before. You get a machine you plug in, set your temp and it helps compress too with cold to get swelling down so you can get cranking on the range of motion machine. If you can’t get the swelling and pain calmed down, how the hell are you supposed to use the range of motion machine?

I’d absolutely question using them.

Dr. Spangler and Justin with Kinex medical in the Chattanooga office went above and beyond today for my daughter. I would recommend them to anyone needing surgery and post surgery care. The time spent explaining how it all should go and her recovery was top notch. Definitely made me not feel like just another number of a patient!

Absolutely horrible. The person who dropped off my equipment was wonderful and this has no reflection on her. This has to do with the people in the office, the supervisors, and the person in charge of picking up my machine. I was given a CPM in August and was assured that it would be able to be picked up when I moved. Since then, I have moved and have been working to get this machine picked up since November. They tell me every time that a supervisor will call me later that day, and I receive no calls. Then once I finally got in touch with the rep. who said they would pick it up, they never showed up. This company needs to get things together and actually deliver on what they promise to the clients.

I felt that this needed to be reported. I was told the equipment would be delivered the day of surgery. Instead it was delivered a week later. The equipment was fine it was the deliverer. The young lady Amanda made an inappropriate remark to my husband. She brought the machine in my bedroom she took her lab jacket off and laid it on the chair about 4 steps from my bed where she stood. She took the plastic off of the cords and threw them in the chair. My husband picked up her jacket to gather the plastic. He laid it the jacket on the bed. Amanda said I wasn’t sure what you were trying to do with my credit cards in the pocket. He said to her God won’t bless me for that. I am assuming because we were African American he was going to steal her things😞
