This review is 20-years overdue! Joseph Klawsnik was appointed, by the court, after years of GAL’s finding my children’s father unfit. Diagnosed with “Narcissistic Personality Disorder incapable of change, even with psychological intervention”

Note, it was my ex-husband who initiated the GAL’s to prove me unfit. My ex-husband had lost custody after being banned from a supervised visitation center because his emotional abuse toward the children continued during supervision.

The previous GAL’s removed themselves from the assignment based on threats to them by my ex-husband.

Somehow, despite all of the evidence and findings by the professionals, the information provided by my children, Klawsnik decided to reunite my children on unsupervised visits. Things quickly went downhill with visits, abusively.

Klawsnik, not only made personal/cordial visits to my ex-husbands home, attending dinner parties, he made it very clear he was doing this. He also accepted payment from my ex-husband to side with him. I confronted Klawsnik with this and he then wrote his letter to the court.

Despite the continuing abuse, due to Klawsnik allowing unsupervised visitation, and documentation of abuse, Klawsnik wrote a recommendation to the court to allow continued unsupervised visits with the children’s (my) abuser, their Father.

It is 20-years later and my / our abuser continues to be emotionally abusive to my children.

Klawsnik acted like a gentle soul. He was viscous.

Joseph Klawsnik, in my opinion, is unfit for his position, is more interested in money, i.e, my ex-husband bought him out. He does not like women. Especially those who have the nerve to speak up, and speak out against him.

Klawsnik has his own personal agenda / vendetta.

He’s not fit to be in his role.

I pray that he is removed from his role so he does not damage any more children and families.

He was appointed as GAL by court for me. His fee was high, on the highest end of the fee usually charged ($100-250/hour according to internet). But he did not even hire a secretary for custom service. All my calls and to my acknowledge all other calls were never answered directly. Most calls did not get any responses. His report was also delayed significantly. The quality of his report could be much better if he could spend more time. The recommendation he came up with was rejected by all parties involved, totally out of touch with reality. He could easily impress you as a nice and caring professional. But he has the potential to reveal his true thought in his report that shock you, in a negative and carefully-worded way.
