I love Union Hospital. From 2000 to 2010 I was unfortunate enough to need 4 surgeries. Four were performed at Union and one at Christiana. My experience with Union Hospital was far and away so much better than my experience at Christiana. The doctors and nurses are caring and professional yet down to earth. Their pre-surgery rooms are private which a real departure from the beds divided by curtains at Christiana.

My husband recently had a surgery at Christiana that was much better than the experience I had. I feel a need to say here that their patient care and understanding is much improved - though they still use the curtains in pre-op. For myself, though, I will always try to go to Union Hospital first!

Complete and total waste of time.
It would seem the doctor decided who I was before I even arrived.
