Stay away from this entire non-profit. It's full of apathetic, sorry, worthless people who do not care at all about your well being or even if you are stabilized. The assistant medical director at this facility, Christine. Is a liar, overly cocky, and delusional. But hey, she know's how to return a call pretty well? That's pretty much the only plus I see from her. Dealt with her on two separate occasions and each time I have I felt like I would have been better off leaving this facility years ago instead of letting my hatred of change make me feel complacent in a non-profit that hasn't been able to stabilize me for longer than 2 months in over a decade.

Doctor has been 1/2-1 hour late to all appointments. Was told I’d receive a call to schedule my second appointment. Never got a call and had the call the office myself. After my second appointment there was a mixup with my medication and the error was Made by upper bay. My most recent appointment was supposed to be tomorrow but it was canceled. I didn’t call and cancel my appointment. No one called to tell me my appointment was canceled or called me to reschedule my appointment. The doctor gave me enough medicine to last until tomorrow morning. The doctor is not in the office and I called upper bay several times today and spoke to several people and got no help. When I spoke to the med person who was at the Booth Street office today she told me that she couldn’t guarantee that I will get a refill tomorrow but she would ASK the doctor to give me a refill. I told her how dangerous it is for someone with mental health to not take their medicine she told me just to think positive. I’m outraged that she would even say something like that. The last time I went without my medication I became suicidal and ended up on a 72 hour hold at the hospital but it’s like they don’t even care. Once I receive my refill and or have an appointment with the doctor it will be my last. I would never recommend upper bay to anybody. If I could give them zero stars I would.

The A.C.T. program is AMAZING they have been there through a very rough patch in my life. I can't tha k them enough for all the services they provide and help they've given me any boyfriend through trying to patch our lives back together. Theyve helped so much with learning my mental illnesses and how to cope with them not just throw a bunch of meds down your throat.... Actually help you learn to deal with the symptoms and actual helpful coping skills not those same 4 everyone tells you but ones that will actually work for YOU!! I have so much more to say I'll have to come back when my brains working better... Deff recommend if you're able too get seen I know it's incredibly hard to get in since COVID .

Woah my God….. how is this place is business?! Literally since I’ve been to this place my life and my body has been thrown around… I’m definitely not thriving at all… I’ve been to the program 4-5 times and the actual smell of the office and clients have literally made me sick for months… like at least since October… it definitely has deadly smells in…. And I’ve only been there for a few ish months…. The staff some of them are really fantastic people!!! Some just seriously do not know how to do their jobs… since like 2020 this office has a rep saying they do not have therapy to offer to people… and just from the beginning of October til now Jan I’ve been through 2 caseworkers…. And lol I’m definitely not going to be considering a 3rd caseworker from this office… I mean when the manager itself walks away from the company what does that even say? Cause I seriously 😳 can’t wrap my brain around it… like… throughout tears I’m literally crying my eyes out for my caseworker to stay… like full blown my eyes could bleed tears… and I asked her what do I need to do for you to stay at upperbay and she laughs… and I felt as if she wanted to scream happiness!!! But she said happiness… I mean idk if she was fired or anything like that but you know when you’re fully balling crying on the phone with somebody and they said oh god you’re gonna make me start crying you damn well know it’s not you… and damn I can tell you I’m walking away more actually been shook then I was walking into this place!!! Like holy god….! Save your insurance company money and find meals with wheels provided for you and use google and YouTube and Facebook help groups because I’m telling you you will be mind slanted dealing with any mental health programs in Cecil County non the less… you truth value your mental health and even physical health you’ll find a better outlet then attending a healthcare clinic such as upper bay… it’s like experiencing being involved in a cult non the less….
Apon being here I’ve heard clients telling me they have nose infections being here that one caseworker can’t stop sickness in her house hold cause of that my main caseworker has been sick a few times… and how I’ve felt since walking into the office the few times I’ve did it’s just oh God!!!!
I definitely believe in beefing up your social life but the way that they leave their homeless clients of the program smelling the way they do they’re not a health clinic and they’re risking others health not just solely the ones that aren’t homeless but definitely the ones that are. The way the office itself smells I seriously don’t know how they’re in business… I’m more in the actual van itself then being at the program… I mean I definitely don’t even think I can stomach the smell of the place… you’re definitely risking your nose and a bit of your sanity sitting an hour in this place… the housing connected to the program itself for its clients is a mad scientist house… I’ve had a client reach out begging to me to live with her and move in the same house as her but by the way her skin looked and seeing how filthy her has cloth was I pretty much can’t even imagine anything of the sort with things in life for her and her lifestyle!!! Like someone please just get this place shut down!!! Oh god man… I’m definitely walking away more stirred then I did walking into this place. My best advice is journal drink 3 cups of green tea a day workout for 45 minutes a day 8 hours of sleep lean meats fruits veggies vit c and vit d stay away from junk and fast food.

Never use the SUDS service here. Daniel or Danielle (whichever he goes by) who runs the program likes hold grudges for personal reasons outside of the program . Also very unprofessional they were giving urine tests with the cups already out of the bag and already opened leaving high probability for contamination of urine samples. I don’t think they’ve been doing this very long . I’m very thankful I got my program completed as soon as I did but even after that Daniel witheld my completion certificate for weeks without answering or returning my phone calls it wasn’t until I made a phone call to the head of the facility that I finally got a phone call back 2 weeks later from Daniel claiming that he hasn’t received any of my numerous calls or messages . Place is a joke 0 stars if possible

The staff is always polite and professional…. And understanding. All of our contacts over the last 20 years have been exceptionally positive. Dr. Wilson has been most helpful, comforting, and professional. His willingness to assist and his professional knowledge is a tremendous asset to Upper Bay.

Try some other place, it's easy but there is other services better than what I got here. After leaving U.B. they kept a claim with my insurance open making it very difficult to obtain better services elsewhere. The turn over rate is as bad as any fast food work place. Keeping their numbers up (for fiscal founding) is very important to the administration causing therapist to rush clients in and out. Appoints are often rescheduled to meet these needs. They are unable to keep a psychiatrist, I was told "we may have one in 5 weeks, but I think one just started". Again, if you are looking for real help try other places. Also do some internet searches via Google, Yahoo and/or other search engines and find whet others have had to say including current and past employees. I hope this helps you get the help you really need sooner with proper quality.
