We saw Dr Weintraub for a second opinion on end of life care for our cat and she was very gentle and caring and provided information that we appreciated. The staff at reception was warm and welcoming. We outreached regarding options for euthanasia and they connected us with their own in house resources and at home options. Once our cat passed, Dr Weintraub sent a sympathy card. We thank all of them for their time and appreciate their sympathy. I would highly suggest this office for your concerns related to your animals.

I've been going here for the last 35 years. Dr Watts, Dr Coleman and Dr Baker have taken such great care of my four dogs and one cat over all those years. Recently, my dear sweet Timmie crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. The loving care that was extended to both Timmie and I was exceptional from the staff and Dr Watts. When I rescue my next Jack Russell, that pup will definitely see my favorite doctors at Pleasant Bay.

We are all very happy with VCA Pleasant Bay - my husband, me and Clarence our dog! Dr. Baker and the entire staff have been wonderful caring for Clarence- even seeing him twice a week after his mast cell tumor removal to change his dressing. He is now back to his old self, long walks and romps in the woods and at the shore. I include a picture of him all tired out after a big day. Thanks to all!

I brought my newly adopted cat to VCA as they were her original vet with her previous owner. My experience was extremely positive. There was no wait and everyone was so professional. Dr. Weintrob was wonderful. I have not been to a vet on Cape in years. All around a positive. I must add I take my partners cat to her vet in Fairhaven (and before, New Bedford) and labwork is a 1.3 of the price. I was admittedly shocked to pay 478.00 for an exam and bloodwork.

Took our cat here in an emergency situation
Two techs came running out to the car to get George after my husband walked in and told them. He was taken immediately to a treatment room and to a waiting vet. It was wonderful to have that responsiveness, especially when the cat was in danger. Thankfully he is ok and was able to be released that same day. The vet explained everything to us and gave us clear instructions for treatment. Highly recommend Pleasant Bay for their professionalism and caring.

Wonderful experience even with Curbside care... Dr. Baker (though I have not had the pleasure of meeting him yet) seems very knowledgeable and caring! All of the staff have been extremely kind and professional... thank you as I am coming from a not so empathetic veterinary practice and it is refreshing to know my babies are in great hands! Amos and Andy thank you too! Though Andy is NOT happy about having to lose some lbs... means less treats for this little chubby 😉 Thank you again, Gyda Jemery

Great place. Owners are not allowed in because of the pandemic so they wait outside, which I think is a terrific idea. They took Juno In and were really nice to her, she felt safe and happy. Happy dog, happy owner! 💖
