I have been a patient of Patriot Direct Family Medicine since it opened. Dr. Wacks takes time with his patients, orders thorough labs which can be drawn in-house and makes excellent nutritional and other lifestyle recommendations. You will leave your appointments knowing that you have been meticulously evaluated and educated for a solid understanding of your current health status and the steps you need to take to improve it. I love Dr. Wacks! He's an amazing doctor, very knowledgeable and always easily accessible. I switched to him as my primary after getting fed up waiting 1-2+ hours in my primary's waiting room for my scheduled appointment. I have yet to wait more than 5 minutes at Doctor's Wacks' office and he never rushes me out of the meeting. He's helped me understand so much about my body and nutrition and his passion for helping people really shines through in his practice. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Wacks a few months ago and I was really impressed with his approach to health care - it's not about taking a pill for a quick fix. He explains his refreshing approach to health care in a calm, positive manner which empowers the patient to feel like an important part of the recovery process. He carries out very in-depth blood work but does not recommend a long list of expensive supplements afterward. Highly recommended!

My family (2 adults and 2 kids) joined Patriot Direct practice 4 months ago and couldn't be happier. Dr. Wacks is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. But what's so unique about this practice is how accessible he is. We can e-mail and call him directly and get a reply the same day (sometimes less than an hour after we contact him). Every time one of us was ill, we got an appointment that very day. I first came to see him with a chronic gastro-intestinal issue that was never addressed by other doctors. He was able to diagnose it and find a solution that has improved my well being tremendously. I really can't say enough good things about Dr. Wacks and his staff.

Dr. Wacks is an exceptional doctor. He is an excellent listener, very precise, informative/explanatory, knowledgeable, thorough and most importantly down to Earth. He took time to get to know me, my health history and my current health concerns. I have never had a physician spend so much quality time talking to me. His amazing listening skills and the quality of time given were unlike any I have ever experienced. His ability to research and dig deeper led to a diagnosis that no other doctor discovered. For the past two years I have been a patient of Dr. Jeffrey Wacks at Patriot Direct Family Medicine. To say that Dr. Wacks and his practice has exceeded all expectations I had would be an understatement. I am originally from Connecticut and moved to Massachusetts upon my transition to law school. During which time I kept/stayed on my parents CT insurance plan. Once I turned 26 and I moved to my own health insurance plan through the Health Connector. I went to almost four different PCP's "in my network" because each one of them never took the time to get to know me, and would just push me off, tell me I'm overly worried, etc. Not to mention, my insurance premium was absolutely insane, and my co-pays were through the roof! I was introduced to Dr. Wacks and decided it couldn't be worse than all my other experiences so why not give it a shot!? Direct Primary Care works SO different than having a regular Primary Care Physician. Dr. Wacks is a concierge doctor, this practice has an APP for quick care/concerns/medication refills. When I call Dr. Wacks office, he will call me back or message me on the Patient APP within a few hours, not DAYS or WEEKS like other offices. When I have a question for him, he answers it extremely thoroughly. He gets to the root of the problem instead of just giving you "a pill for your ill". I suffer from asthma and on multiple occasions have had flare ups that became severe. On those times I called Dr. Wacks, he told me to come in right away and would administer a breathing treatment. This is ALL included in his monthly fee, there are NO additional Co-Pays, no additional cost for this, and this is truly phenomenal. If I had to go to the ER for that service it would be over $500.00 in Co-Pay alone on my insurance prior to any services. Dr. Wacks is the only doctor that I trust with my care, he truly cares about his patients, he gets to know them before he even does ANY physical exams, blood work etc. As I said before, he gets to the root cause of your problems instead of just trying to put a bandied on a bullet wound. I trust Dr. Wacks with my life, and with my health. I know of NO other doctor who offers this level of care, service, and compassion towards patients. 15/10 would recommend every single time. If you've been looking for a Doctor who will actually CARE about you, CARE about your health, and NOT nickle and dime every single item, look no further.

Dr. Wacks is amazing doctor. He really cares and listens to your concerns. He does not push you around. I left my kids pediatrician because they never listed to my concerns I felt bullied when I explained what I wanted for my child health. Dr. Wacks gives you a choice. As parents we want the best for our kids and we have the right to to choose what we think is best for them. I am so pleased with Dr.Wacks services.
