Dr. Mark Kaplan and Dr. Aaron Shiu have been so helpful in helping me manage my migraines. I have brain lesions and they’re so painful and I’ve seen so many different doctors but no one has ever listened so well and tried so much to help me stop the pain, without harmful side effects. That’s the biggest thing of all is they helped me get to the right medicine that I feel better and safe from harmful side effects on. Thank you so much for completely changing my life for the better. I just wish I found them sooner!

As a side note I have been to MGH Neurology in Boston, other pain centers in Framignham, many other neurologists, etc. prior to coming to MetroWest Spine Care and Pain Management. I have never been treated so well, felt so heard or cared about in my 30+ years of seeing so many other doctors. Who’d have thought this level of care could be found right here in Framignham?

Pain in my back and leg gone. Dr. Shiu found all the right spots for my shots. Before I came to him, I was having back pain and I could not even walk up tiny stairs or any distance. After injections from Dr. Shiu, I live in normal life, I can I can walk, and I can go upstairs and walk anywhere with minimal pain.

Video call did not go well. He kept saying he couldn't hear me. But he could see me and told me I was doing movements that I wasn't doing because I can't. I heard him and saw him . He was a little weird. Maybe intoxicated . Ordered a CT scan and MRI for me. It took almost 3 months for MRI and he never prescribed anything for me . Mri tech asked me why I had not taken my meds before procedure. I didn't have any. I don't know what to ask for. Dr Kaplan should have prescribed something she said. CT scan had to be approved and never happened. Horrible experience. I was hit by a man who ran a red light. I'm in so much pain. Cannot get help. Begged the lawyer for a different Dr to no avail. Could not reach Dr Kaplan after several calls. Fired the lawyer. Total incompetence. And he really needs a dentist. Looks homeless.

Dr. Shiu is really helpful in making me feel better. I feel like a new person when I do a trigger point treatment because it helps me with my pain. Linda is very good and nice in communicating with me about my appointments. Avernelle creates a very chill and comfortable environment.

Dr. Shiu and his office manager Linda are committed to providing an excellent patient experience. I have a chronic condition that began in my childhood. As a result, I have seen dozens of doctors over the years. Dr. Shiu's office runs seamlessly, taking away so much of the anxiety and frustration I felt in the past. I am always treated with courtesy and respect. Appointments run on time, messages are promptly returned, scheduling visits is quick and easy and virtual visits are even possible. You can text your requests to their office if you're like me and that is so much easier. Dr. Shiu is knowledgeable and kind. As well, he listens and is genuinely invested in patient care. I highly recommend Dr. Shiu. You can trust him and the staff with your care.
