Dr. Wachtel is jovial, efficient, knowledgeable and went out of his way to address any and all of my concerns regarding the treatment of my ingrown toenail . I remember spending the better part of a week to find a podiatrist who could see me and his office was able to assist me the afternoon I called. Dr. Wachtel has made me feel safe and comfortable while I’m in his office for his care, I can’t not thank him enough for all he is doing for me. I know it’s his job but the extra stuff while I’m panicking or million questions cause my mind is racing. I’m scared about my future with my feet as it is he’s just assured me to pay attention and leave the care in his hands. And I can’t not recommend him enough.

Dr. Wachtel is an extremely intelligent podiatrist. He’s very personable, his staff is very welcoming. From the moment you walk in, you aren’t waiting long in the waiting room, and that’s a huge thing because time is valuable. I will always come back here. I suggest you do too. RUN, don’t walk to Dr. Wachtel, the best podiatrist around!!!

I came home from work on a Thursday with an infected toe and could not walk. We were starting a vacation on Sunday and called several Podiatrists in the Andover area, including the Podiatrists at the Foot Health Center, who had been our family Podiatrist, for an emergency appointment. All of the Podiatrists said no appointments on such short notice, even for emergencies. My wife was very lucky to call Dr. Wachtel, who I now understand often accepts emergency visits. I visited Dr. Wachtel's office in Lowell on Friday and had surgery that resolved the pain and the infection. I was able to enjoy my vacation!

Dr. Wachtel and his staff are very kind and professional. Dr. Wachtel's initial surgery and follow up surgery were great. We have now found a new family Podiatrist! Ken in Andover.

I had ingrown toenails for a while before I decided to visit a podiatrist. An online referral recommended Dr.Wachtel, At my first appointment Dr.Wachtel along with the staff were very friendly and helpful. During my procedure Dr.Wachtel was working efficiently and effectively, The whole procedure was done in around 25 minutes. The ingrown nail was completely out. After about 2 weeks of keeping it clean, afterwards I returned with it fully healed. I definitely recommend Dr.Wachtel

Great guy, great service. Knows what he's doing. Saw him for chronic ingrown toenail issues and he fixed it right up, no problems. Would recommend.
