I’ve really enjoyed the quality of care received at the VA in Northampton. The staff seems attentive, caring, and very competent. The facility overalls set up very well. I was initially worried, switching to the VA system from private Healthcare. The pharmacy has been extremely easy to work with. Thank you for all your help.

This is my one stop shop for health care. Great staff. Incredibly supportive of veterans with housing, food, peer support, primary care, specialty care, therapy, and medication. Hard working people that often work long hours to help veterans. Easy 5 stars.

The response from the staff there was incredible. Thank you Bob from the Liberty entrance on Aug.22nd for pushing this hobbling old vet to my appointment. I think there was a computer glitch that held up my CAT Scan for 1/2 hour...but other than that the courtesy shown was great.

I have been a patient of the VA in Leeds, Massachusetts, Newington, and West Haven, Connecticut, for the past 11 and a half years. During this time, I have consistently received exceptional healthcare and dental care. The primary care and specialty care doctors, as well as the staff, are friendly, caring, and attentive to my health needs. The atmosphere is welcoming and supportive, and I feel confident that I am receiving the best possible care.

This VA has it's problems 😑 in all areas but be at

The most inept unusable system ever. You guys could take a lesson from the VA in Cheyenne, WY. They took care of me for years. There was never a problem reaching a team pac member and/or having the primary care provider call me. I use the Greenfield clinic which is almost impossible to contact. When they finally call you (God forbid you miss the call and have to go through the 3 or 4 day process of making contact again) you might get to see someone in 2 or 3 weeks. By then you may be dead. If they leave a message it is impossible to call back whoever called you because they leave a general switchboard number and no extension that can neither connect you to who called you or help you in anyway. If you ask to speak to someone at Greenfield they connect you to a triage nurse at Leeds and all they can do is forward you message. Ridiculous!

I've been using the VA in Leeds and Springfield, MA for a year now and I have nothing but good things to say. Now that I am retired I started using the VA for prescriptions. Saved a lot of money! Great service! Great doctors and staff. Never have to wait. Scheduling appointments is quick and easy. Following up on tests and labs is easy to do on the myhealthevet web site. I will admit that I was a bit surprised what with all the negative noise about the VA. But they've been good to me and for me. Thank you VA Northampton and Springfield!!

My first trip here was to urgent care 20 years ago. Never an issue getting appointments when I need them. The staff has always been responsive using the online system within 24 hours. Prescription refills could not be easier at the VA with the click of a mouse. Of Course it is not perfect but it is still far better than the private system which I was part of for years prior and for my family today.
