I received very low quality care from this provider. Upon further research, I’ve learned from friends and other medical providers that my experience was not unique. Do avoid him.

Dr. Fallon misdiagnosed even though he was looking at the MRI and X-ray that showed I had a bone spur pressing on my clavicle, a tear in my rotator cuff and labrum, arthritis and bursitis.
He said it was fibromyalgia. Suggested a massage and sports therapist.
I went to two other surgeons as I had continuing significant pain in the one shoulder - in NYC and Springfield - who both confirmed what the radiologist documented, went over my MRI carefully with me and confirmed there were significant problems and the cause of my shoulder pain which could be repaired. They both independently suggested arthroscopic surgery and explained everything thoroughly.
I DO NOT recommend Dr. Fallon.

I had years of shoulder pain and very limited range of motion. Dr. Fallon took the time to explain all my options and their associated risks upon reviewing my MRI results.
I, my spouse and the entirety of the PT department I am using post surgery are amazed at my results given how messed up my shoulder was before surgery.

I would r recommend Dr. Fallon to my family and friends without reservations.

Dr Fallon surgically repaired my hip fracture. Dr Fallon is the BEST of the BEST. I was in the right place at the right time at Cooley that afternoon that
Dr Fallon could repair my fractured hip !

Dr. Fallon is great, if i were just reviewing him it would be 5 stars. The handling of scheduling/appointments Is so awful i wouldn’t go back. I had a post op for a knee surgery that landed on a snowy day. My fiancé took the day off from work to drive me ( non weight bearing, no driving) . We called the office a dozen times before my appointment. We called the main CVS number to ask if they were closed and they told us they did not hear from the office. I checked the website looked for text messages and emails, nothing. With the weather, it took us over an hour to get to the appointment. When we got to the orthopedics floor, there was a nurse from the different floor who is kind enough to stop me from cruntching all the way down the hallway. She had come up to check because the other offices in the building also did not know if they were closed or not. Turns out they were. The next day no one reached out to reschedule, I called and rescheduled my appointment for the following day. My fiancé had to take another day off of work, and when we got to the appointment, they had scheduled it at a different office. I would have been 15 minutes late to that appointment, and they refused to see me. I called back the next day multiple times to reschedule and no one answered the phone, I left messages with my contact information. No one called back. My Fiance even called the emergency line over the weekend to speak to someone to see if there would be any issues with my stitches remaining in. No one answered, and no one called her back. From the EMERGENCY line. I was supposed to go back to work today but I can’t because I haven’t had my follow up yet. Called the office again to try to get a hold of someone today and I was on hold for eight minutes before it automatically kicked me to Voicemail where I was only able to leave yet another message.

I highly recommend Dr. Fallon. He is warm, personable, caring, knowledgeable and confident. I was very anxious prior to the appointment and he really put me at ease. I feel secure that he will help me determine the best course of treatment. If surgery is needed, I am confident he will do an excellent job, based on what I've seen with others who have been treated by Dr. Fallon.

It seems incredible to me that this man is now head of orthopedics at Cooley Dick. The hip replacement surgery that he did on my significant other was unsuccessful. There were problems very early on, and he was not interested in hearing about it. Please be warned, avoid this surgeon.
