I went in on a busy Friday evening. The wait times were extensive but completely understandable. Once admitted, the staff took excellent care of me and were very friendly. I thought I had food poisoning, but a CAT scan determined it was appendicitis! I ended up having the procedure done the next day. I was informed of the process and what to expect. I had a great experience!

Had a really great experience at cooley urgent care. The tech was phenomenal, kind and knowledgable (I didn't get to write down her name).
The CNP, Tiffany Rose, was outstanding! She was so thorough, validating, thoughtful, curious and kind. She listened to all my symptoms, offered many options and was great at validating my discomfort! She left room for me to ask many questions and gave clear next steps.
She is clearly very experienced and smart!
Thank you!

Aloha everyone,

I wanted to take this opportunity to give a great review to the Northampton Cooley Dickinson Urgent Care! I live in Amherst, and I have been to the urgent care in Amherst and would not even consider giving them one star, but since I went for a work injury at the Northampton urgent care, I am pleased to say that they are amazing! I've been there since November and still continue to see them for my follow-up, and between Mellissa, Tiffany, and Lela, they are an amazing team of nurse practitioners I've ever seen since I have moved here from Hawai'i! I look forward to my next appointment.

Mahalo (thank you) for your kindness, help, and support!

Don't go to this urgent care center. They're not set up to do pretty basic tests that most urgent care centers would do, or imaging, and they can't refer you to a specialist. I went in last week (because I don't have a primary care physician and can't get an appointment for 6 months) and was told there was nothing they could do other than send me to the ER for a non-urgent issue. It was the second time this has happened. I then went to a different urgent care center where they did a full panel of blood and urine tests, and referred me out to a specialist. My only guess on why they're so limited is that they get more money through the ER, so are purposely set up so that the doctors have to funnel patients there. Don't get me wrong- the doctors are nice, but the structure of the place makes it pretty worthless for a lot of what you expect to get in an urgent care center.

Cut my hand, went an hour before closing. Completely empty waiting room, was turned away and told they were too busy to assess if it was signifiant enough to require medical care. Really disappointing lack of concern for patients.

I normally don’t leave reviews but I had to because this was the best experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care by far! I went through the main entrance to get to the urgent care and got a little lost at first so I asked one of the nurses and they helped me find it, just followed the signs and I was there! The person who checked me in was very nice and I was seen in less than 15 minutes! The nurse who checked my vitals and whatnot was a riot and I was seen by Bryna Greenspan (: Bryna made me feel cared for and while we were waiting for my rapid tests which took about 40 minutes to get the results, they checked in on me periodically to keep me in the loop! Highly recommend going to this urgent care, super friendly and I was out in no time! ✨

I saw a PA for very basic COVID and flu testing, and they charged me for a specialist visit as if I saw her supervisor! No disclosure ahead of time that this was possible. They charged my regular urgent care copay on the date of service, only to bait and switch. Four separate times calling billing to protest did nothing and they are not accepting further appeals. Do not go here unless you are prepared to be nonsensically overcharged later and stonewalled in any attempt to right the wrong.

I usually don't leave reviews but nurses and doctor were really rude and unprofessional. While I was waiting, an older man came in requesting a wheelchair for his wife and instead of kindly redirecting him to the cancer sector on the other side of the building they just gave him confusing instructions and whispered about him when he left. Very dismissive, 0 sensitivity. Just yikes. Shocking considering I’ve only ever had positive experiences with the cooley dickinson network in the past. I can see why there was nobody in the waiting room. I don’t know if its the work environment or if they just send everyone who’s insensitive and unhelpful here but I’d definitely drive the extra 20 minutes to avoid this place.
