My initial experience with Dr Pianta was positive. She was able to diagnose my issue quickly, she even found another problem I was not aware of. However after surgery I expressed my concern as I was still having quite a bit of pain. After 3 months post surgery I returned to Dr Pianta and requested follow up care. I suggested doing another MRI to look at the area. I was told by the Dr there was no reason for it and to just give it more time. I was uncomfortable with that answer so I went for a second opinion. The new Dr did an MRI and found that there was still a tear in the tendon along with some other issues. I will be using the new Dr to perform a second surgery to make the needed repairs to my arm.
Overall I was quite disappointed with Dr Pianta.

I have been dealing with Dupuytrens Contracture for the better part of 5 years. A local doctor wanted to do surgery. A local friend and patient of Dr. Pianta's suggested I get a second opinion. Very glad I did. I was told I would be a good candidate for Xiaflex injection. I opted for that and it has been a year since the procedure and while my finger is not perfectly straight it sure is close! She and the PT upstairs are awesome. I highly recommend!

The appointment with Dr. Pianta went exceptionally well. She is Very Friendly, and very thorough in her explanations of the causes and treatments for the injury. She did not hurry through the appointment, and by the time I had left the exam room, I was 100% confident with my decision to proceed with surgery to correct the issue.

Dr. Pianta was highly recommended by PTs and OTs in the area and I'm glad I chose her to perform my CTS surgery. She was patient, explained the procedure and answered all of my questions, putting me at ease. She's very professional, yet not impersonal. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Pianra is absolutely the best OD I have ever encountered through my experience with many broken bones and injuries. Like the old fashioned small-town doctor, she treats with genuine concern and compassion, remembers her patients and stays on top of their injuries, conditions, etc. Dr. Pianta is an extremely skilled surgeon, having reconstructed my wrist with hardware back to complete and full use. In addition to surgical skills, she is also very knowledgable in other related conditions that can affect her surgeries, such as RSD and arthritis.

i am sitting at my computer with my left hand bandaged-up post hand surgery performed by Dr. Pianta this morning. So far, i have had an extremely good experience with my treatment by Dr. Pianta. She takes time to be both informative and reassuring and tried first to correct the problem with my finger non-surgically. Unfortunately, that was not possible. Next week, my stitches will be removed, and I expect have five fully functioning digits after it heals i highly recommend Dr. Piata for her skill and compassion.

I had a second good visit with Teresa and we came up with a health plan moving forward that I feel good about. Teresa is easy-going, very easy to talk to and explains things in English, which not all doctors do so well. I would recommend to all.
