The staff at Swift River are amazing. My family has been seeing the doctors here for 10 years. I left twice during this time due to insurance changes and a few physical moves, but I ended up back here after realizing there are NO OTHER PHYSICIANS that provide the same level of care as Dr. Anderson, and the newest addition - Dr. Smith. They are patient, kind, and have an exceptional bedside manner. I never feel rushed in my appointments and always feel that I am being listened to and my thoughts are valued. I recommend this practice to anyone looking for a reliable, down to earth PCP.

Laura is down right rude to patients. I have had a pleasant experience with every other receptionist who works here. Doctor Anderson is a good doctor. Its a shame that I feel I can no longer be a patient here due to one receptionist. This isn't even the first or second time shes been rude to me. She just hung up on me when I still had questions about a future appointment. I called back and just decided to cancel my appointment. After seeing that most of the low star reviews are only about her I decided to find a new practice all together. If they cant have a conversation with her or manage there employees how can I assume they will take care of me.

After being with another practice for 30+ years I found that I needed to find a new PCP so I heard that Swift River had some good doctors. I was able to make an appointment with Dr. Smith and was very please with his professionalism and bedside manner. I also found that the reception desk was friendly and informative if I had a question on the multiple forms I needed to fill out as a new patient. So far I am extremely pleased.

Started going to swift river medical a year ago because of my old primary care doctor - Vinagre from Orchard Medical didn't care about his patients at all. Since been going to Swift River Medical. I am much more satisfied with results they give me. Just finally met Dr. Stephen Anderson at my yearly check up and he is such a nice guy. He listens very well to your concerns and figures out a solution without rushing. I get a great vibe being treated by Dr. Anderson, and knowing something is getting resolved. Also the receptionists are nice, sweet and welcoming! ...I recommend this place if anyone is looking to relocate to a new doctor office.

As of the other bad reviews, not quite sure if they were fibbing or making stories up. But never experienced those issues myself.

I would 100% continue go to swift river medical as of now.

I have been seen by and/or a patient of Dr Anderson for over 15 years both at his former location and at Swift River medical. I have always been amazed by the amount of time they spend with me in exam room because they wait until I'm done asking questions. I never feel rushed. I have called the office during the day with a concern and have been given an appointment on same day often. Dr Anderson hasn't always been available for all my appointments but the PAs have been great too. Everyone in this office treats me with care and respect.

I have been a patient of Dr. Smith for many years and followed him when he left Northampton to join Swift River back in late 2018. I have been very happy with both Dr. Smith and Swift River. Everyone has been pleasant and helpful and I look forward to continuing as a patient here for a long time.

I recently had a horrendous experience with the same arrogant, condescending, unprofessional receptionist Laura who hung up on me as well when I questioned how she and Dale mistreated my daughter during an office visit. My daughter was home from school on Thanksgiving break and had an appointment and was going to inquire about a bill she received. At that moment Laura and Dale both gang up on her and stated "WE HAD THIS DISCUSSION 3 MONTHS AGO, WHAT PART OF IT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND". My daughter was traumatized by these two unprofessional receptionists and arrived home in tears because of them. Before I was hung up on, I was told that Dr. Anderson would get in contact with me. My wife also called to speak with the office manager and was told there is no office manager, that Dr. Anderson handles all the complaints. We are still waiting to hear from Dr. Anderson.

It's amazing that these women still have a job with their lack professionalism. I had to do their work for them and this situation could have been resolved 3 months ago if they actually did their job and followed up with my personal insurance company before quoting me and my daughter their billing policy instead.

Suffices to say I have a lot of respect for Dr. Anderson, I have been a patient of his for 15+ yrs and leaving this clinic will be difficult but I refuse to work or deal with this level of incompetence, unprofessional, rude and unacceptable behavior from the two reception staff mentioned earlier. I would NEVER recommend the agency to anyone for services as long as these two individuals are there.

If I could give a zero I would. The receptionist who was helping me was pleasant and tried her best. The older woman to the right of her named Laura needs to retire. She was rude, disrespectful and treated me a way I have never been treated like in my 45 years on this earth. I understand that healthcare is stressful and times have changed since covid. I understand this because I'm a Registered Nurse of 16 years and have been in the medical profession since 1999. I went into the doctors office feeling under the weather and vulnerable and I was spoken to and treated with such disrespect. Laura, you should seriously be ashamed of yourself for treating people with such disrespect. Because what goes around, come around. Who knows, you may be my patient someday.
