Holden Vet have been amazing to us. We moved to USA with our 2 dogs back in 2017 and we brought our 2 dogs (Schnauzer mix and Boxer mix) with us. Our experiences with veterinary clinics in the USA was awful, until we got to Holden Vet. For the first time we found people trying to care for our dogs and not trying do dig a hole in the wallet for the sake of business, and a big shout to Dr Bridget D'Onofrio who was our primary Dr for both doggos. After 5 years in USA, we lost the Schnauzer to cancer, and it was heart-breaking. Among all the sadness we got a letter with signatures from the staff with kind words that shine of light at a difficult time, thanks for your humanity.
OK!! it gets better, we decided to move with our Boxer back home where sun shines 365 days a year and we never go below 70 degrees. Dr Danielle Friend helped us getting him ready, finding the right steps and working with us and our agency abroad to prepare Bambu (Boxer). He needed last minute corrections on some certificates, and they went far and beyond to help us. I am so used to people just saying not our problem, that I though we were having to cancel the flight, but all the staff ran to help us get everything we needed, always with a great attitude, and enable us to bring our little giant to Costa Rica safe and sound.
Thanks so much, while I won’t be visiting anytime soon, I can only say you are all amazing people and professionals.

I highly recommend Holden Vet Clinic to anyone and everyone! We just moved up to Massachusetts in 2024 and have been looking for a vet for our 2 dogs for a while now. Holden Vet Clinic came highly recommended to us and I couldn’t be happier with our choice to go here. They treated my dogs, Jax and Winnie, so so well. Winnie has allergies and is skittish at the Vet due to experiences with a different vet she used to attend, but the ladies at Holden had her wagging her tail by the end of her first visit! Jax is a senior dog with a recent injury that they helped identify. They educated me on care for a senior dog as well as care for allergies like Winnie, being it is my first time owning an itchy dog. They took their time and made every second of the visit worth it as they are super informative and listened to my concerns. This kind of care truly means so much to an owner. If you are looking for a new vet, don’t look any further. This place is absolutely amazing.

We were struggling to alleviate the pain and discomfort our dog was experiencing. He saw the vet and was in a state of recovery within 24 hours! The staff and veterinary md. were professional. They took the time to listen to our concerns. They were respectful of our observations and opinions. They were gentle and caring while helping our dog.
We could not have hoped for a better outcome.
We are so happy our boy is recovering and comfortable once more.
I would recommend Holden Veterinary to everyone who cares about their pets.

Everyone at Holden Vet Clinic is awesome! They go out of their way to make me and my anxious dog feel comfortable and are quick to answer all questions whether via email, phone or in person. Happy to have a Vet we trust!

I have nothing negative to say about Holden Vet Clinic! They are always responsive, kind, accommodating, and above all, they love my dog! They are always willing to explain any procedure and the cost, and how to best help my dog health-wise. They're also open pretty late for a vet office, which is a huge plus!

Caring, competent vets and a welcoming staff make this an excellent place to bring your pets! . While Thrive is a corporate entity, this office never has a corporate feeling. We are very happy with the excellent care our dogs have received, and we are thrilled to have found this clinic!

Warm and caring veterinary clinic. The front desk staff is wonderful and accommodating. They are helpful and friendly, know you and your pets by name, and seem to go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The vets are knowledgeable and they very obviously love animals. They take the time to get to know you and your pets and actually LISTEN to what you say. We are so glad that we found them! Even though they are a corporate entity, it doesn’t feel like one. Prices are high, but so is the quality of care.
