Felt compelled to write a review because the clinic has so many 1-star reviews but our experience was good. A friend fell sick during our trip to Alaska and we went here. They had ~1 hr waiting for walk-ins. The doctor was super nice and helpful, prescribed the right medicines, and also did a follow up later.

Absolutely a 5 rating. I have been getting care here for years. From the front desk, to the nurses, to the very knowledgeable and caring Dr. Lisa, I don't hesitate to give this rating.

Be very careful with this place. I had made an appointment for my son , and then he woke up sick. He couldn't make it. So I called. The lady said there would be no charge because we called as soon as 9am. ( they didn't open until 10 ) . We came in a few days later ( today ) and a 25. Charge for no show, no call. And total disrespect by the front desk talking about this around others ( privacy please ) and Mr. Bennet Jackson did the same. I am so disappointed in this company. They have went so down hill and not out for the pacients as they used to be.

I just came from there. After being told they could see me and waiting they tell me they can't see me or my son til at least 730 or 8. When I asked if they can swab us for strept (because of exposure and symptoms) she said I said 2. Then proceeded to count 1...2 and hold up her fingers like I was stupid. Also was speaking about personal and confidential stuff where people could here. Very disappointed this use to be the place to go.

They are in it for the money and not the patient..they don't listen and don't take appropriate action in getting to the bottom of problems..in my case they basically called me crazy and had me fill out an exam to see how much anxiety I had when I was coming in for rib pain.

Not a good experience at this clinic. This is my personal experience and I know it will very from others, but I can't recommend this clinic to anyone. Front desk staff are very kind and patient, but the system in place (not sure if it's paper AND digital but the stack of patient manila folders in the back isn't convincing) does not seem to be as organized as you would expect for a medical office.

I visited with the intent to have emergency prescriptions filled for diabetes medications as Medicaid took several months to be approved and this was the first clinic that was able to see me. This was about 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. I was seen by Bennett himself, and though I did appreciate the candor, seemed to be basing some of his knowledge on old BMI information rather than me as a patient myself. Bedside manner could be improved. I was told I could lose 20 lbs solely based on height and weight I gave him, never accounting for personal health or any information that would indicate I am healthy beyond a BMI chart. Proceeded to "pinch an inch", which made me laugh hoenstly, but I can imagine would not be ok with many other patients more sensitive to their body. On top of that, I have NEVER been "sold" a name brand drug during an appointment but was told i should look into getting on a statin and another pill (can't remember the type) for long-term use. I know this is likely common recommendation, but did not at all feel like I was being treated as an individual and more of another diabetic, which again, would only trust a specialized professional (endocrinologist) to give me specific diabetes advice. It doesn't help there was a drug rep who came in before my appointment, and though it was unlikely anything I was recommended, I couldn't help but laugh when a name brand drug was dropped during the conversation.

Was told he needed to grab his stethoscope to finish the checkup and proceeded to wait 20 minutes for him to return to the room to help finish the appointment. I understand it is a small clinic and he likely is needed elsewhere, but learning both FNPs only work in office Thursday and Friday through the week (was told this by front desk), maybe trying to see so many patients in only two days isn't the best professional practice for people needing medical attention.

Lastly, was referred to an endocrinologist in the area for further, long-term care, but as stated before, and understood by Bennett, I was needed diabetes supplies and medicine urgently just to hold me over until I could see an endo. I had Tandem Diabetes fax over a sheet of supplies that needed a signature to fill...multiple times before it was ever "found" and filed in my patient chart in office. Then proceeded to wait 2 more weeks for Bennett to simply sign it to be faxed back, though I was told over the phone after multiple calls, it would be handled by end of day two weeks in a row. It sadly was overlooked for those two weeks, and many many calls to the office later, was FINALLY signed by another physician the office was able to contact (not sure who), again because the FNPs are only in office the last two days of the week. Can't comprehend how many other people's needs fall through the cracks from poor attention or mismanagement of documents.

Sadly my experience and though it differs patient to patient, again, I can't recommend this clinic.

I don't write reviews very often, but I am compelled to share my experience here. I was working in Anchorage from out of state and needed care without an appointment. From the front desk check-in to the medical assistant, I experienced friendly and efficient service. My provider, Sai Duchanin, would be my primary if I was local. She was personable, competent, and engaged. They even called me on a Sunday to make sure I was feeling better!
