I love The doctors I've seen there, but I've never once had a prescription request or imaging referral be sent/ received smoothly, nor had easy communication when something went wrong with said request. I'm starting to think their fax machine just doesn't work. The clinic staff is friendly and skilled. Unfortunately,
the building has a depressing and institutional (as opposed to bright and welcoming) vibe overall. But again, the 2 pcp's I've had have been amazing and attentive to my medical needs, when I can get in to see them... usually a few weeks out.

I had to wait over an hour for a SCHEDULED appointment. I got there early to fill out paperwork and my appointment time came and went. I waited 45 minutes in the lobby past my scheduled time and then when I was brought back to a private room I waited another 30 minutes before I just up and left. I never saw the provider and I never got the help I needed, who has time to wait so long for something that was supposed to last 20 minutes? I had things to do that I wasn't going to put off because of this clinics poor time management. Since then I have not gone back.
This place needs to send out notifications or call patients if providers are running so far behind schedule like that. Health is a serious concern for people and not everyone can spend hours sitting around waiting when the appointments are supposed to be scheduled.

My daughter has a appointment this morning at 10:30am. I know for a fact that I would never schedule her a appointment for 8:45am because that's too early for me to drive from Olympia to hilltop Tacoma after I pick her up from Lakewood. The clinic sent me text messages that the appointment is for 8:45am which is incorrect so I have made several attempts to call community health hilltop and they don't answer. There's just silence after all the prompts. I chose every number just to try to get through to someone but there is nothing. They are wasting my time and gas as I am homeless staying in my car and I drive my daughter with the last bit of gas I have left.

How is that my DISABLED mom can WALK all the way up the hill and to your clinic for a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT and the staff here REFUSED to see her. Claiming it was because she was late. We walked thru the door's before her scheduled appointment time. She was late due to this clinics long line to check in. Meanwhile this clinic only has one receptionist checking people in, out of the 3 receptionists that were in the office. This situation, on top of my previous experiences here. Is insane.
The fact you guys still have your license is absurd.

I have had nothing but positive experiences when I come here. The nurses are super friendly & down to earth. I actually felt like my doctor cared about what my concerns were. I felt heard & understood and we built a treatment plan around these concerns. I liked how information was shared amongst a team of doctors so I had the flexibility to see multiple providers at a variety of time slots making scheduling fairly easy. Oh and the facility is always super clean, there is covered parking for free in the garage next to the building AND there is a security guard that walks the garage area so I felt super safe.

If you have any other options, go there instead.

After 4+ months of sending dozens of messages and calling the front office repeatedly just to get a referral to a specific rheumatologist, nothing was happening until I involved the patient advocate. After she was involved, everything magically cleared itself up in 48 hours, (because that is how long it should actually take to fill out a referral), and I had the referral I needed and apologies from my medical team about the long wait.

The patient advocate stated that it was entirely unacceptable and unprofessional for a referral to take this long to receive. Seriously, it was practically a part time job just to check in on/try to force other people to do *their* jobs. Four months of fighting just to get somebody to change the name and fax number on a piece of paper!

I am in the middle of trying to get another referral and it is shaping up to be yet another unnecessary battle, with little to no help from my care team or the staff who answer the phones.

If you've got another place to go, go there instead. It's truly exhausting and frustrating to have to spend so much time and energy fighting to get the bare minimum done. Expect long wait times on the phone, lack of response to online messages, and an absolutely glacial pace of getting necessary care. Getting help shouldn't be like this.

10/5 stars for the patient advocate though, she's been the only truly helpful part of the experience. If you have problems with this clinic definitely reach out to her (her email address is on their website), she's the only one that's been able to set my care team on the correct path. Once she was involved, everything was sorted and taken care of within two days. She's a miracle worker.

This was my second visit to have my teeth worked on. The procedures went well. I didn't feel any pain during any of it. And I'm happy with the results. Especially since one of the teeth being worked on showed when I smiled. They are a bit busy but I recommend

These people have gone above and beyond time and time again. I dont know where i would be without them.Iam an anxiety ridden nuerotic mess and they treat me with nothing but respect, patience and kindness. Iam so gratefull for everything they have done for me.
