We seen DR. Garrett in the ER today. He was amazing! He maintained proper handwashing and sterile techniques while providing excellent care. He was clear with his directions and explained the procedure so it was understandable. He made sure we knew how to prevent the situation from happening again as well. It was obvious why he has chosen his profession; he truly cares about his patients. I’m so glad we got him for our visit today and recommend him in the future.

They only have one check-in desk, which means there is a long line of people waiting to simply provide their name and explain why they are here. They then have to wait again to see the triage nurse and further wait to see the actual doctor. This process is not only ridiculous but also time-consuming. Alaska Regional Hospital is much faster and provides better service. Who only has one check-in desk in an emergency room? They used to have three desks, which made the process a bit quicker. This visit has been the worst yet and the most time-consuming.

There's only d/c but no turnover on discussion of the different types of medicines and their side effects, contraindication, rx success tier. The wait makes sense, but Ambulances can still deliver a certain amount of pt's. The pt refusal acceptance is humane.

I have been here 3 times. And it’s been 2 - 4 hours waiting for them to see my kids. And 1 time my boy had a broken arm. I was there for 5 hours just for them to put on a cast. Right now I’m here with my boy bawling his eyes out in pain. And they just look at us and look away. I’m very disappointed!!

You'll be skipped even if Sent by another hospital for surgery and you are not allowed to eat. They don't have nurses doing check in, they disappear for 15+minutes at a time. The last time I had to come here they gave me meds that I was allergic to (and they knew it) and refused to tell me before administration what meds I was getting. Literally only still coming because of my lack of insurance

Very slow, patients who clearly need help are not seen right away. Patients who physically cannot do stuff themselves IN WHEEL CHAIRS are left alone with no help and when they simply ask for water “sorry can’t do water right now” nor do they even wheel them and place them nicely. I’ve seen a woman gurgling with every breath and everytime she talked wait for 3 hours. Messed up.

Er hung up on me at 12:15 today as I was explaining my ear problems. I believe the person should be fired for hanging up on me like that especially experiencing hearing loss and infected as well with a hole in my ear drum.
