I very rarely write google reviews, but Annie’s work was so helpful to me that I want to comment. After looking at the websites of all of the myofunctional therapists in the area, I chose to work with Annie even though there were professionals located far closer to me. Annie’s website indicated a strong science background and a professionalism that I was seeking. I was not disappointed! Annie is a skilled therapist with a warm interpersonal style. She helped me resolve the impact of years of bad habits through her clear teaching and explanation of practice exercises. I felt comfortable enough with her to also bring my little child to her and she was instrumental in getting my child on the right track. Annie is also a valuable resource for finding other good local professionals when additional specialists are needed. I always felt Annie had my best interests at heart and really cared about helping me get better.

Annie has been nothing but absolutely kind and attentive. I was very nervous starting therapy- especially as an adult and she calmed my nerves from the first visit. She knew fairly early on that I would likely need to have a frenectomy to correct my tongue tie and she helped me with setting up a consultation with a surgeon she trusted and recommended (I didn't even mind driving 5 hours for) and was available before, during, and after my procedure. Annie's therapy has quite literally changed my life, and even though I am technically finished, I know I can reach out to her at any time. Forever grateful!

We've had such success thanks to Annie's expertise and amazing way with kiddos! My eight year old son and I both have restrictive tongue ties and we both worked with Annie. Navigating the tongue tie terrain is so confusing, and Annie was so helpful in providing information for us, always reminding me that our decisions were up to us. As a parent I really appreciated being able to ask Annie all our questions and not feel pressured in any way. Also, we had much success doing most of our appointments via zoom - even for my 8 year old who doesn't care much for zoom. Annie is gifted with working with children. She knows how to engage with them and work on their level, in a positive, encouraging and fun way. I am so thankful for her help in improving our lives so much!

I recently began working with Annie to help my sleep disordered breathing and to prepare for a orthotropic/orthodontic treatment to improve my airway (MSE + SFOT). Annie has been a great ally in navigating this new and confusing world, offering many resources. She thoughtfully answers my questions and listens fully to my concerns, remembering them later and emailing me between sessions. She is also very organized in her approach, assigning a clear and doable number of exercises and reps. After about 3 weeks of doing Annie's regiment of exercises, my sleep already seems to be improving somewhat.

After a lifetime living with a mouth formed during early childhood thumb sucking I needed help! Annie helped retrain proper tongue placement. She helped me reverse mouth breathing. She walked me through strengthening my tongue in ways I didn’t know you could! I highly recommend Annie if you need help. The earlier you can change old habits the happier you will be!

Annie is amazing at what she does and is understanding when circumstances change. She was able to help me out with my TMJ pain along with my tongue positioning. I definitely recommend if you are having issues with anything involving the tongue, face, and jaw.
