Our family of six really enjoyed our stay here. We were able to check in early and use the waterpark right away. We found the hotel to be clean and well run. all the employees we encountered were lovely. My kids loved all of the water activities and other offerings. At check-in, we were surprised with a free breakfast the next morning. Overall, I was very happy and would return. The only thing that were small negatives were having to pay for parking and the beds were not the most comfortable. Also wished the waterpark would stay open past 8 PM as I had older kids that would have liked to stay up a bit later to enjoy the waterpark.

This is a must do if your kids are under 14. It is so much fun. Even if you did not all do the magic game, its still really fun. The first time we went we did not do the magic game. This time we did do it. It took 2 days. I think it's an amazing value that the kids are literally occupied for 2 days playing that game. That is between swimming and eating breaks and other entertainment as well. It is amazing.

The rooms are great. The facility is great. Sometimes you have to wait a long time for popcorn refills or food service. But other than that it's amazing.

Great Wolf lodge continues to live up to the reputation of the best family vacation spot. The water park is amazing, kids love to spend hours and hours. The wave pool is really awesome. The dining options are good, not expensive. The arcade is good.

The evening dance party is amazing, the team is very engaging. The story telling time is really mesmerizing.

At times, the parking is a little over crowded, but you will find a spot.

The nearby town Centralia is good for the antique stores and breakfast options.

The rooms are little dated, not bad, but need a refurbishment near soon.

So we have taken our kids to the Great Wolf Lodge in Colorado Springs and Scottsdale AZ. We've had incredible experiences at both and have returned many times. So we were so disappointed with the Grand Mound location especially as it is with beautiful lush Washington State. Service was below expectations, and we paid the same amount for both rooms and the Wolf passes only to find out there was No mini golf, no bowling, no climbing wall, and the ropes course was closed. As for the Magi quest we liked the change in story line but as it was located on 4 different floors (elevators were slow so we had to climb and descend very busy stairwells) and right next to rooms; it sort of lost the magic. Pool was average. And the prices of food vs. the service we received at the restaurants on site left much to be desired. I'm sad to say we will not be returning to this location and highly recommend to any family visiting Great Wolf Lodge for the first time to consider a different location.

There are pros and cons to GWL. We loved our stay this week. It was our third time there. We stayed a Sunday night to a Monday in early March

Pros:
Short lines for the water slides
Pizza and pretzels and hamburgers were all delicious
Kids loved our themed room
Room price was affordable because it was a week night

Cons:
Prices are pretty high. $22 for a “large” pizza. Had about 10 pieces of pepperoni on it.
For two wands and two Magiquest games we paid $108. It was highway robbery.
It needs more elevators. We waited 10-15 minutes at busy times for an elevator and with 5 young children it wasn’t always feasible to climb five flights of stairs.
The wave pool was closed for over an hour due to feces. We left for the night before it opened again so I don’t know how long it was closed.

Still recommend going, but don’t do Magiquest, be prepared to pay out the nose for all extras.

We were there for one night but arrived at 9am the day of and departed at 7:00 the following. Definitely recommend talking to someone who has gone before so you know the ropes. The different paw passes are the best value vs a la cart for the different activities. Our room was spotless and well maintained. The staff was always friendly. The food options were great and plenty of varietey. The food quality at the breakfast buffet was a little lacking in quality. But overall it had good selection. The kids love Great Wolf.

I recently stayed at this hotel, expecting a fun and engaging experience, but I was quite disappointed overall.

Positive Points:
• The decoration is eye-catching and well-designed.
• The MagiQuest activity is a lot of fun for kids.
• The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained.
• The staff are friendly and helpful.
•. There is one Starbucks in the main lobby.

Negative Points:
• The waterpark is very small, with only five rides, and the wave pool is tiny. If you’re looking for a big, exciting waterpark experience, this isn’t the place.
• There are no activities for adults at all.
• Even the kids’ activities are quite basic. There are no game shows, talent shows, or engaging entertainment options, especially after 7:00 PM. The few shows available are very simple, and it feels like minimal effort was put into creating entertainment beyond the waterpark.
• There is no gym at all, which was a big letdown. I expected at least a basic fitness facility.

We had such a blast at Great Wolf lodge! We would probably go more frequently if it was closer to home.
The rooms are super fun (we stayed in the Wolf den suite, highly recommend!!). It has a separate little area with bunk beds for the kids.
We loved the fact that we could come in the morning and enjoy the park before our check-in time, and also enjoy the park after our check-out time.
The water park area was a bit smaller then I had pictured, but there was definitely enough to do for us.
I recommend bringing snacks / drinks for your room. The Pizza in the hotel beside the water park was Super good and priced fair.
I love that there is a little bar area and you can buy adult drinks at the pool area.
This was a well thought out themed hotel and many activities.
Buy the wand and do the treasure hunts!
On check in they have a few options for packages for activities (build a bear, candy, ice cream, gold mining, etc), we bought one of them, and it was well worth it for my son. I think you can get it for a better price when you're booking online.
Having our room key as a wrist band was the best thing too!
We will be back!
