I had surgery and called the office for appointment only to be told that Dr Gross was retiring and now I have no one to see me. Without meds now. I’m sick. This is a crappy thing to do to the public. I trusted you. I even called before your deadline last fall.

Dr Gary Gretch has been a consistent advocate for my mental and physical health since the first time I walked into his office in the 90’s. He treated my late husband for many years as well. Each visit Dr Gretch asks, “Is there anything else?”. Anyone whom has needed medical assistance knows that question is quite rare.
I feel as though anything I say would fall short in expressing my gratitude for the many years of care and time Dr Gretch and staff of Olympic Internal Medicine gave my husband and continue to give me.

I have been seeing Dr Gary Gretch for over a decade. Typically you don't wait long at all to see him unlike other doctors I've gone to yet he gives you a lot of attention. No rush. VERY kind hearted! Unfortunately he is good at treating symptoms which isn't what I'm looking for. I'd continue to see him for my type 2 diabetes but his office has implemented a $250 annual membership fee or 25.00 mo. There are a lot of seniors on a fixed income that may find it difficult. I'm one. I don't know but it sure seems they have a ton of staff. Maybe less staff if there are financial issues. I am very sad to leave the office. I'm comfortable there. I love my doctor and his nurse is always wonderful. If you are looking for prescriptions and don't mind the fee, I HIGHLY recommend Dr Gretch!!!

I think your experience depends on which doctor you choose. In the beginning i had high hopes that my complex medical issues were going to be adequately address. Unfortunately for me, my choice was very distressing and detrimental to my physical and mental health. I often felt unheard, not believed and disrespected. I receveived sub par recommendations. My last visit felt liked I'd been sent to the principals office for discipline. I left the practice after six months.
The support staf tried hard to do a good job which I greatly appreciated.

My experience here with Macie Booker has been by far my best and most memorable experience of good health care that I can remember. I have seen over 20 doctors in several different specialties and she is the only person I have met that has taken my concerns so seriously.

She has a great sense of humor and was very considerate of my needs as a patient. She got me to the doctors I needed and the medicine I needed whenever I asked. There wasn't ever an argument, she was always trying to give me the tools I needed to have a good life. We always came together to find the solutions that best fitted me.

She never made me feel like I was crazy over my concerns. Any tests I needed or referrals I wanted, she was on it and helped me. I have had to fight for simple things like this from other providers.

I am now living in Hawaii and greatly miss this provider and her assistant Tasha. I definitely felt like family at this practice and haven't found people like this since. If you're in the market for a new provider, Macie is the way to go!

Was a patient for a number of years and was referred to a cardiologist last year. Cardiologist test were all negative but I was still very sick. I called Olympic and my primary doctor was on vacation and they said the emergency doctor (on call) doesn’t like seeing other Doctors patients. At this point I was really desperate and felt like I was pleading with them to be seen, and they didn’t seem to care or be concerned. I found someone who did care.

I was a longtime patient at UW medical clinics and was sad to find no UW facilities in Kitsap County where we recently relocated. After a terrible experience at another facility I called UW for a reference and Doctor Gross was recommended. After a year as a patient they abruptly changed their policies. As explained in phone call I got 2 weeks before my blood work appointment. Now on top of copay out of pocket there is a yearly charge of $250 broken into monthly payments. And I was almost 3 months behind and would need to pay up to date to be seen. Never received paperwork, email etc. My insurance did not cover office visits as Dr Gross was out of network so I had to pay $200+ out of pocket.... Now add on $250. I can't afford it so asked for a reference, (just like I got from UW) the office called and said there are no primary care providers available in the area. I will go elsewhere as they obviously don't need me I needed them.
My worry is how many elderly patients understand this change?
