I really like Vaughn Howe. They've been able to at least get me somewhat functional again after my regular docs failed to even do that after a neck surgery.

I really DON'T like the strange, outside medical assistant program they use that talks to you before your actual appointment. They're not part of the clinic and it's obviously some kind of outsourced training thing or just really inexperienced people that staff it. They never have my records right and they ask all these dumb questions that I already answered on the questionnaire prior to the appointment. I don't like that they have access to my personal information....doesn't seem secure at all. You should dump those guys... its annoying.

The people are friendly, and get you in on time.I understand with pain, there are lots of components. Mine is arthritis, old age. not fun. I've had several injections before and now back to see if procedures have changed. Always hoping

These people are very good at bait and switch. They're happy to have you as a patient until they learn that all you need is pain meds, not surgery. Then they leave you hanging. When you object to this, you are a "difficult patient".

Peninsula Pain Clinic was disappointing. After my consulation, they lost my paperwork for contacting my insurance and getting an injection approved and scheduled. Weeks went by without a follow-up. I eventually called them to see what was taking so long just to find out they were doing nothing since my papers were lost. The process off the actual injection was fine, other than it literally did nothing to help my pain. So that was a waste but maybe that's just my personal injury problem. When scheduling the injection, they also scheduled a 2-week follow-up. I felt obligated to go so that I could tell them it didn't work for me. When there, they forgot about me in the exam room for nearly 45 minutes. It was 10 minutes before closing time, so I stepped out to ask what was going on. They seemed bothered that I had the gall to do so and there was a lot of whispering about it. The Advanced Patient Provider that was seeing me seemed especially bothered and also confused as to why I was here for a follow-up. Um, you guys are the ones that scheduled this. I thought it was necessary, I would have gladly not come in, wasting my time and money to tell you guys it didn't work at all. He basically only suggested we try the same exact thing again and didn't seem to care at all that it didn't have any positive effect on my pain. Both times that I thought I was seeing the doctor, I only saw the Advanced Patient Provider. So that's frustrating to have never actually seen or talked to the doctor about my issue. That didn't stop the clinic from billing my insurance as though the appointments were with the doctor. That seems sketchy to me.

Overall, lacking in professionalism, messed up my papers, forgot about me in an exam room, treatment didn't work, and the APP didn't seem to care about my issue. I will not go back and wouldn't recommend it to others based on my experience.

If you are a drug addict this is the place to go. A family member overdosed on Fentanyl (fortunately I found him. Emergency personnel were able to revive him) but they still keep prescribing. I contacted the manager before this most recent overdose to inform them that he was abusing all the pain meds they prescribe (more than one). Nothing changed - they keep issuing him opioids.

I have had a fantastic experience with Dr. Juan, Ms. Bouquet, and the rest of medical team treating me. I have had not one negative experience since starting my treatment at Peninsula Pain Clinic. The staff asked about my lifestyle, diet, medical conditions, and emotional well-being. I have been left with disabling conditions after dealing with rare form of luekemia. In the past, I lived in the southern states and throughout my residency there my medical conditions were either dismissed and/or neglected. Since moving to WA, all of my conditions are being treated and my personal well-being has improved because of medical professionals like the ones at PPC. They are well educated in their fields and the staff has true empathy for every individual that comes through the clinic. Being proactive with my health concerns and listening to the advice of my doctors/nurses has had a remarkable improvement mentality and physically.

Insurance can be messy and tricky place to navigate. The staff will do their best to work with your insurance plan or come up with a financial plan best suited for your budget. They are very reasonable. I am still disabled, however I can better cope with the chronic pain with their treatment options and compassionate staff. I will continue my treatment at this clinic for years to come.

I was welcomed very warmly by the clinic staff. I was still finishing my paperwork when I arrived and they were very kind to help me finish and start processing what I had already finished. Dr. Hillyer was extremely knowledgeable in everything I am experiencing in my back and leg. I felt very confident in the treatment process we discussed.
