I really don't know what to say, I discovered this company back in late winter of this year, because I'm disabled and need help with all things cuz I don't have any family or friends here, i can't even write anymore I stutter and slur really bad (strokes are serious...) and don't own car anymore so I need help with running errands and stuff, and recently I've been punished for my personal and political views.

I was punished for writing a negative review about a caretaker company because they ruined one of my blankets and weren't sorry about it, what's more is that my case manager at the time "jason" came to my door a couple of days later and yelled at me about how I wasn't supposed to do that (leaving a negative review online about a company) because that makes his job harder...

And then after that I got a new case manager named Rebekka who wasn't only doing nothing for me, she didn't even know basic law, she wouldn't send me up for programs and grants when I told her to you but she was all about telling me to do it, after showing her the resource I found FOR her, and back in August we were talking the phone as you hung me, so I was obviously upset that she did that to me. So I walked down to DSHS to complain, I got done complaining and it told me I had to go to the into the office was about two and a half blocks away, I get to the office and my case manager is waiting for me instead of her supervisor. Earlene...
And I thought at the time I and Rebekka talked it out and came to an agreement. But she said before I left the office she said twice "gonna complain on me huh? And it didn't really register what you said until next day at noon August 20th when APS are showed up, so it was retaliation, huh? Now I suffer from severe anxiety, and I don't do well on the phone. But I got the extremely upset and called clarkston police to see if they knew of anything about it, they didn't.... But you should have seen her face why I told her I called the police to find out who sent APS. "...you called the police "

So I tried to complaining on her again to earlene, at 5 days later I got a call back from Rebekka, so I called Earlene's supervisor Jennifer. I left a voicemail for Jennifer and 5 days later I got a call back from rebekka...

I have famous actor godparents who I was trying to get in touch with after 45 years, and I didn't have my godfather's phone number to call him, so I asked her to call his agent and tell him I need to talk to my godfather.. I didn't know it but she told the man that I'm crazy and don't let them talk to me. So she destroyed my relationship with my godparents forever... And I told Corey one of the main people at ths Yakima office that she filed a false APS report on me, told her about the godparents thing told her about a lot of promises that she made me that were lies, and she's not acknowledging them, I mean her employee BROKE THE LAW and her only words are "from this point forward, earlene will be your new case manager..." Bottom line if you have other options use them. Because these people are criminals.. .

Their care management team were instrumental in helping my family organize placement and moving my mother in law to a long term care facility. I was so impressed with their professionalism, knowledge base and how caring and compassionate they were to myself and my mother in law. She ended up in a great situation and their guidance was a huge part of the successful transition. Thank you!

I was supposed to have (apparently) a Social Worker to help me transition through the month of December after a long hospital stay with services of a caregiver, groceries, and medication management. After an in depth phone discussion, I had high hopes, but not later, unfortunately. There was some help with medication management, otherwise no help with the other two despite me calling and texting. I just kept getting the runaround. Apparently she was too busy or overworked? I mostly stopped asking after awhile since little was getting done. In any case, it was more than just a little disappointing. I have gone hungry for nearly two weeks, caught the flu, probably because of my run down state, and seeing as I've been waiting to get a caregiver since last Spring, it would have been been nice to have some help as weak as I've been. (To be fair, getting a caregiver should have been more In DSHS' wheelhouse but that's another long story.) In any case, as my father used to say, Don't make promises you can't keep, and If you can't do a job right, then don't do it all. I'm glad others have had good experiences with this organization. I actually know one of these people. Sadly, I didn't have the same experiences at this especially vulnerable time.

This place is not overly friendly but they do their job. Make sure you get there way ahead of your appointment so you can find parking these people do not like to let people park in their parking lot they save the parking lot for employees. I was actually chewed out for parking in the parking lot because my truck was to big to park in the street with all the snow build up, Even though I was there to attend one of their classes.

Susie was so helpful and professional. She came to our home to talk about housing options for seniors and had so much information for us. She then followed a few days later with a call and more literature for us to look. Impressive!
