As someone who is disabled waiting an hour for an appointment with no communication until I asked (and was then told I wouldn’t be going back anytime soon) is not okay.
Which is apparently fine because they scheduled me for the wrong appointment at the wrong clinic. Big downside to Chas is the clinics don’t work together. Soonest available should be soonest available regardless of clinic.

I hope the staff who came up to watch the interaction because I was upset was amused. Mind your business and talk smack after the patient leaves.

Brandie Tilch-Bryant, ARNP, continues to insert her personal opinion rather than objective medical knowledge into our interactions. I simply requested a test that’s covered by insurance to verify some things about my health and she continued to question me why I think it’s necessary. Then when I explained why anyone in my position would benefit from this exam, she said actually no I disagree and it’s probably not covered anyway. She reluctantly said she would send it through and then proceeded to hang up with an attitude since she felt I had no right to ask certain questions. She called right back and has been comfortable telling me what vaccinations I should inject into myself but when I asked to schedule an exam that is directly related to my health and covered by my insurance, her direct response was “I’m not going to be a part of that. I heard about the exam on a Joe Rogan podcast. It's unnecessary. If you want that done then you can google a location and pay for it yourself.” Switching to another provider ASAP. These kinds of people do NOT deserve to be in the healthcare field whatsoever. They’re in it for the money and not for the care of their patients. Horrible service.

IF YOU ARE READING THIS DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR MEDICAL CARE!! These people are RESIDENT NURSE PRACTITIONERS and are NOT DOCTORS!! I have way too many issues with this place for the past 5 years I have been going here there isn't enough space to write all the negative experiences. I have too many medical issues that they have neglected to help with but instead gave someone who doesn't want to take pharmaceuticals many different prescriptions to try and help the symptoms of pain and suffering, but not try and find out what is the cause. I have been trying for 7 years to find the cause of my debilitating pain and this is not the place to go. I just want to find out what is wrong so when I go in with specific symptoms and ask for a referral it's a problem. This place is a JOKE and if you value your life and healthcare DO NOT GO HERE - I would not even want my worst enemy to get treatment here as it shouldn't even be called healthCARE because this place definitely does not care. I don't even want a stupid automated response of "we are so sorry to hear that you feel this way. Please contact us to discuss further...." blah blah blah. It's a joke. This place is the biggest joke I have ever encountered. I used to work in the medical field in many different offices including resident physicians and this is NOT how healthcare should be. I honestly feel that this place needs legal action taken against them (It's THAT bad.) If you are not going to listen and want to learn by experiencing their fake monopoly of a medical organization, please don't let them schedule you with Allison Slamkowski, ARNP! I have seen her twice and both times have made me storm out in frustration from being an incompetent idiot that should reconsider her career path. She is the WORST person I have ever seen for medical care and I have had some pretty bad providers. I HATE this place after all of these years they somehow just keep getting worst. Do NOT GO HERE if you have more than a cold.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would!! Words cannot begin to describe how disgusted this place makes me! I have brought my daughter in here several times the last 2 weeks to receive follow up care from ER visits. They have declined to give her treatment she NEEDS every time. And when I demanded they give my daughter the help she needed they told me the appointment was over because they would not be following what the ER said she need. These doctors or a better term would be wack jobs, need a huge reality check, and I will be reporting this office to the appropriate people. So disgusted that a 2 year old can’t get help regardless of how many times it’s proven she needs it! DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE

Amanda in medical scheduling @ Chas Valley is awesome. She went above and beyond for me with finding my medications, soonest appointment, and ensuring I was taken care of. Don't let this girl go!

I’m pretty depressed with my overall care here. I had pretty okay prenatal care, but the second it was time for delivery it’s been difficult and hell ever since, although not entirely the fault of this clinic. After having my daughter, it was crucial AND standard for me to have some tests ran, as I was experiencing severe psychological distress AND due to my previous labs. These weren’t done and I had to confirm myself that the issues, two years later, are still issues. I am HORRIFIED that I do NOT have follow up labs for these issues. I brought up these specific tests with my doctor on numerous occasions, but I was also too delirious from these deficiencies to be more clear and concise. One test, I’ve never had done in my life; but I’m at high risk for and should have been tested at this clinic…. Confirmed that I do in fact have said issue. I was in a delirious, severe psychological state that nearly required inpatient hospitalization but I was so paranoid about my daughter being taken away that I fought that even harder. This could have had severe outcomes if I were any less strong willed. I didn’t want to be sexist and wanted to give a male dr a chance, but for postpartum issues DONT. I lost almost two years of what should have been joy with my daughter because of this, and judging by my results two YEARS later, I also could’ve lost my life. Absolutely horrible. The ONE time my male doctor listened to me was just because a female student was shadowing and that’s so telling. I’m actually crying writing this. I have an appointment coming up regarding a lot of these issues and honestly I just don’t care anymore. We can have that discussion and I’m moving on so I can get my life back.

Edit: sorry, the pediatric care has generally been very good. Just not my specific care.

Avoid CHAS if you have any chronic health issues and/or any ongoing issues that require follow up. I have spent over a year trying to get care for an undiagnosed post-surgical issue, just to be passed around seeing a different provider each visit and going nowhere. Because of the lack of consistency, and having to wait ridiculous amounts of time in between appointments, my insurance denied a scan I really need to have. It was scheduled months ago and I was told about the denial the day before my appointment, and no provider to help me. I am now having to START OVER with a new provider (due to a huge staffing problem), further delaying my care. Worst experience I have had with a clinic and I will be seeking care elsewhere. Thanks a lot!
