I had a provider totally disinterested in my condition. Dr. Flemmer was abrupt, condescending, and rude. I have been dealing with a life and death experience and I was unable to communicate my concerns with her to 0 extent. There was no communication on this visit, let alone empathy. I will not be returning to her, however, I have gone to multicare for 10+ years and have raved about them to friends and family how great they are. Not in this case!
My advise to other patients, avoid her! Multicare has some great providers. Her PA is outstanding, so there are other options.

I am at the North Point Family Medicine office I loved Dr Bala; he was my first physician at this office. And since he's left, I have been passed around from one physician to another which is very troubling because I'm a newly type 1 diabetic. Generally, I'm really happy with all of the MultiCare system but this particular office I don't know what's happened, but it's horrible over there now. The admin. at the front, the brunette who is about 50/60, is rude. She talked across the public waiting room to me about some lab work that I needed instead of quietly pulling me aside to ask me questions. I got there at 6:50 a.m. my appointment was for 7:05 a.m. I stood in line to check in. There was a person in front of me who I thought was a patient that was socializing with said admin. That's when I realized that the woman wasn't making an appointment they were just gabbing. The person in front of me was a co-worker that was off duty. I finally got up to the front to check in I'm still on time mind you; she checks me in, no greeting no cordial anything and tells me to go sit down. She's a horrible reader and she got the street name pronounced incorrectly very incorrectly and if she read phonetically she would have been able to pronounce the word properly . At 7:39 a.m., my name was called to go back to let's just be honest and call it the Patient Holding Cell. The MA shuffled me into the holding tank oh I mean waiting room for the doctor and did my vitals and did a foot check. The Dr. Did not arrive until 8:00 a.m. I felt like he didn't want to spend any time with me he just started rattling off everything on the screen and talking over me and talking down to me and didn't want to spend any time on me and for my 15 minutes. I know he just wanted to get back on track. He was it cordial. This was my first visit I had never met him before he did not introduce himself to me even it was very unprofessional. He was dismissive of me. I don't feel he listened to me. I surely was not understood. He was the one that was late and the office was late not me. My time is important too! The doctor made mention of my great health insurance too; I'm not a health insurance card and I'm not a money ticket for your pockets. I'm a human and I'm paying my health insurance which is paying you to take care of me oh and plus I also pay out of pocket to pay you too. I don't feel like a I have a coherent care team I feel like it's a three-ring circus.

I am only giving two stars because my husband had a good experience. However, i did not. The MA Scott was attentive and professional. Susan at the front desk was respectful, kind and efficient. The physician Dr. Gottschalk gave no eye contact during my first patient appointment, was condesending and rude. His comment in My Chart for visit summary stated "excessively obese due to excessive calorie consumption". While he never once asked me to discuss my eating habits or calorie intake. To make this clinical assumption without gathering good history is irresponsible healthcare and very unprofessional. Maybe he has a "fat people bias" maybe he should consider some CBT around this subject or perhaps do a better medical history. I only changed providers because my insurance forced me to switch from my beloved Providence providers. Hopefully readers won't have the same experience.

I thought I would give this office one more attempt regrettably. I changed doctors because the assistant is so snotty. Didn't help. Both the doctor and assistant were unfriendly. I was told why did you come and see me Because I didn't want to take every test there is i was treated like dirt. They could care less if you're in chronic pain and how hard it is to get through a day..will never go back. So tired of being treated poorly. This place is classic for not caring about the patients.

I have to drive 45 minutes to reach this location. I arrived 15 minutes in advance, just to be informed that the appointment was canceled without my knowledge. The receptionist stated that I had been called about the cancellation the day after it was scheduled (two days before the appointment). This did not happen according to my phone records, which only show a call confirming the appointment. I would not recommend them unless there aren’t any other options available.

There seems to be a strong emphasis on taking care of things online & not talk to a real person. So, my appointment on 01/09/2025 was made on line. The morning of my appointment I received several phone calls, texts & emails. One of the reasons I made this appointment was me not sleeping at night. So, when I finally fall asleep at 6:00am or so I need to sleep in. My phone calls were trying to reschedule my appointment. When I arrived at my 11:30am I was told it was canceled. If the trasisson to complete automation is the move. It really needs to be perfected before allowing patients to use it. I was told this wasn’t the first time this issue had come up.

I didn’t wait long and was attended by friendly courteous staff. The NP was highly attentive and made me feel like they wanted to thoroughly understand the problem before they then outlined a detailed plan of action for treatment.

I felt validated and encouraged at every turn!

This was not a good experience. My procedure was late getting started. They told me the room was being prepped. The nurse was a fill in at this clinic. She did not know where anything was. I asked don't I need todress down? and use a drape? Oh yeah she's says. Then she has to leave the room to get a drape. It's clearly typed on one of the cabinets. The dr. Comes in., tells me she is really running behind schedule. I am already nervous so this brings my anxiety up wondering if she will do a good job. She asks the nurse to get the items she needs. So the tray wasn't ready. So much for the room being prepped. The sub nurse couldn't do it so the dr. Is scrambling to get it ready. Then the dr. Ask if she had me sign a consent form. They both don't know how to do that on the computer so the nurse has to go get another person to help do that. At this point I have had my numbing shots. They have me sit up to sign. Blood is dripping down my leg from the shots. That should have been wiped off. I am so anxious at this time. So she does the procedure I am sweating out. I ask for a cold wash cloth the nurse comes back with a vomit bag then runs our again for the wash cloth. My hands and arms are so tingly and numb by this time. I am hyperventilating. I like my dr. But this was a very unprofessional experience.
