I brought my 2-year-old son in, and he was treated promptly with excellent care. A big thank you to Dr. Geary for not only taking great care of my son but also for listening to my concerns throughout the entire visit. The rest of the staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Thank you!

Not a good experience. I had my youngest son there by C section. I didn't even get to touch him when they wheeled me into recovery and took him to wherever they take him. When I got back to the room, the nurse had given him a bottle - even though they were specifically told he would be breast fed. It was a rough couple of months getting him to take to the breast after that. Also, they were told no vaccinations, as we wanted the pediatrician to handle all of that, and they gave him the eye goo anyway, which is a vaccination. I was extremely upset at both instances. This is OUR child, not theirs. They shouldn't be making those kinds of decisions. WIth all that said - Dr. Hahn and his staff are AMAZING. The entire duration of my pregnancy they went above and beyond to keep me informed and make me feel better about any issues I was having. I'd HIGHLY recommend Hahn and his staff. Just wish he practiced at a different hospital!

My grandmother is very happy there she said that the doctors and nurses are very nice and she loves them very clean and there was a string tied to her bed so she could turn off the lights!

Every experience I have even had at grant memorial hospital has been just absolutely awful mostly the birth of my two children was horrific thanks to staff and how they treated my family HOWEVER after a recent visit to radiology I had the pleasure of meeting a woman named Tina who was the sweetest person I've even met at that hospital she deserves a raise for amazing people skill and bed side manor after being referred to radiology and dealing with the hateful front desk people who LOST MY REFERRAL then lied about it! I was sure the entire appointment was going to be awful I am so lucky I got her as my Radiologist thank you so much for easing my mind and helping me through a nerve wrecking moment it would have been so much worse without you. Thank you.

I know people have a lot to say about this hospital. I have worked for this hospital and my family and I have been patients here. Dr Geeting and the ER staff took excellent care of my 1 year old son this afternoon. I can’t thank you enough for your bedside manner and the care you showed my son.

I came in not being able to breathe, like a fish out of water. 10/10 everyone was beyond nice and helpful! They got my breathing under control quick and painless.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I’ve had two horrible experiences there in the past year. In August 2023 I went there with breathing problems. During a chest ct they gave me a contrast dye which caused an allergic reaction which caused me to have flash pulmonary edema and cardiac arrest. I was life flighted to Winchester Medical on life support and spent 5 days in Cardiac ICU. Last week I was taken by ambulance to Grant again (against my wishes). The ER doctor Neil Lahurd was horrible. He asked me what I thought he should test my blood for, asked what I thought was wrong with me, did an expensive ct and didn’t even tell me the full results of it or of the minimal blood tests he ran after I asked why they drew blood from me only to leave it laying on the table. He gave me a script for a mediocre antibiotic when my diagnosis called for steroids and antivirals and muscle relaxers. Did not send my tests results to my primary care physician. All together he failed to provide even the bare minimum of care. Do not go there if you can make it to another hospital.

If I could give 0 stars I would. In October I was transported by ambulance twice in two days. I woke up one morning and couldn’t walk. The pain was excruciating but I was more worried about not being able to walk without crutches. I went from being perfectly healthy to not being able to put any weight on my right side. I could only walk backwards because my leg wouldn’t swing forward. I was released both times within an hour. They said they couldn’t admit me for pain. Are you serious? What kind of doctors do you hire here?. Needless to say I went home the second day and went to sleep. My wife woke me up 4 hours later because I was burning up. My temp was 105 and my bp was 240/138. She called the ambulance for the second time that day. When they arrived she told them if they couldn’t take me anywhere other than grant that they could leave and she would figure out a way to get me somewhere else. They agreed to take me to Romney at Hampshire Memorial. They told me immediately that I had an infection somewhere and that I wouldn’t be going home. They started blood tests which grant did not do. I was on the verge of death. If this hospital would have done blood tests, They would have seen that I had an infection. I guess me waking up and not being able to walk wasn’t enough. I was transported to Inova in Fairfax immediately for having septic arthritis in my hip. I stayed there for over 2 weeks. Came home with a pic line and did antibiotics here for months. As I’m writing this I still can’t walk without crutches but the pain and infection is gone. I am now in physical therapy in Moorefield. Do not come here unless it’s for a bandaid or stitches. They will let you die with no thought about it. I filed a complaint and nothing was done. This is how they treat their patients. If it were a member of their family they would have went above and beyond. This place is a joke
