Would give 0 stars if I could. You wait 6 months for an appointment and they call to cancel it at the last minute. Super slow referrals. Rude staff. Thank God I have secondary insurance, but as a disabled veteran who served 9 years my fellow veterans and I deserve so much better.

Honestly don't understand how the rating is so low. Been seen here for 2 years now and is way better than Tricare. Everyone on my team has always been helpful, referrals are quick, and in and out of the lab in 5 minutes. I love it.

Dr. Lubov Coverdell is a wonderful primary care physician. She genuinely listens to my concerns and addresses what's most important to me by taking my needs into consideration.

The pharmacy was also fast and efficient with processing my same day medication

I’ve bee seen by primary care, mental health care, and the pharmacy. I have truly loved the care I’ve had, this is my third VA facility after PCSs. Comparing to the other two, this one actually cares. My provider has been diligent with appointments and my pharmacist has been great with appointments as well.

Wouldn't know how the doctors are, I've been trying for a month to even get them to respond to an appointment request. Not exactly shocking that the VA has the reputation it does.

On hold for over an hour for a simple question at the community care office for something I've asked them for multiple times. A list of network doctors. They don't give it and don't pick up phones. This VA is a joke.
I'll be happy to get that list so I never have to deal with them again.

01Sep22 I went to my primary care team about a torn ACL and fractured knee. I gave them all the paperwork from the ER. The paperwork clearly states i needed outpatient care. nurse kindly explained that my Dr cannot Prescribe pain medications and in my words " I am not sure what you are here for" was the jist of the conversation. I go to my Dr appointment and it was canceled due to no VA approval. My primary care team failed to inform me to request care or submit the request in my stead..
Outpatient care for me on multiple occasions they submitted the request. To call by 'X' day.. I waited a few days after and will no results. They insist a someone wants to speak with me and I was transferred to voice-mail. The prognosis of this injury is only to get worse without care.
1 month with no pain medications.. 1 month of not even hearing from my team. Weeks of waiting on hold for hours to get a voice-mail or no answers.
I encourage everyone to avoid having DR COVENDELL as a primary care provider.

If you want proprietary obstructionism, systemic ineptitude (just go observe one admin desk for 10 mins and count how many people are failed), and medieval medicine, this is the disease propagation center for you!

Spent TWO HOURS educating two people with doctorates today. They'll catch on in 25 years because they sure as hell aren't going to read the current literature to have had any clue what I was trying to break down for them. Maybe then I'll get the care I EARNED?!

Hey! At least I haven't gotten assaulted by staff at this location. One star for that.

All the good doctors that used to work here are long gone.

Protip: If you want a timely appointment, you have to invoke a Congressman.
