I did not have a good experience my second time going here (this occurred a year ago). I had an older male doctor observe me and it was not a pleasant experience. As I was describing my symptoms, he would continuously talk over me. It got to the point where I felt no use describing the second half of my symptoms because I honestly felt like he couldn’t care less and/or didn’t believe me. When I said I have been feeling extremely fatigued, I was offered a blood test only when my mother piped up and suggested (i.e demanded) one. The male nurse who did my blood draw was very nice. While we were waiting for the results of my urine test, the original doctor came in, and in so many words, rudely stated that we were free to go. A few seconds later, it occurred to him that we were waiting for my urine test results and he backed off. When it was time for me to go, he was standing outside the room as if he was making sure we were leaving at the appropriate time. As I passed him, I offered my “thanks” only to be met with silence. Low and behold when my blood results came back, I was extremely anemic and was advised to go the ER immediately. I’m stating my results because my experience during the appointment was exhibiting strong notes of “why are you here when your symptoms aren’t urgent and you are not in sports”. Maybe I would half understand the doctor’s urgency for my leaving if the clinic was in fact packed, however this was not the case. He rushed me out like he had a waiting room full of patients, which they in fact did not. I don’t know if he was having a bad day or what, but I tend to have a higher expectation for individuals who are responsible for people’s health. This occurrence happened a year ago, but decided to write this review since experiencing much better care elsewhere and comparing the two.

Thank you

I went to Alpine urgent care after being turned away at a local urgent care that advertises as being a walking clinic. They told me that they would not be able to see me until 9 o’clock at night. I rushed to that argent care right after work today, around 5:30 pm, because I needed medical care right away. A patient who was checking out, interrupted the conversation I was having with, and lectured me on how ALL urgent cares in Alaska are like this now, since COVID, and that you need to make an appointment… and there are no urgent cares in Anchorage that will see you on a walk-in basis.

I went out to my truck and I googled urgent care, and Alpine urgent care came right up. I called Alpine and they told me that they would see me, but there might be an hour wait. I went right over to Alpine urgent care, and the friendly receptionist, Jayden, greeted me and checked me in. Shortly there after, the medical assistant, Desiree took me to a room. Almost immediately after that, I saw doctor Cummings. Everyone there was so nice And they seemed to genuinely care. The patients before me who were leaving, seemed very happy with their care.

At Alpine, I received the best care I’ve had since relocating to Alaska. I appreciate the dedicated staff at Alpine urgent care and I am very grateful for the superior care I received. I just want to give a big thank you and a five star recommendation to the staff at Alpine urgent care. God bless you.

I went back to Alpine again and had another great experience. The receptionist, Jaden, was friendly and she remembered me from my previous visit. This time, the MA was Cierra and the provider was, Scott, PA. They took excellent care of me. They were very friendly, made me feel welcome, and their expertise and care were superior. Very efficient too!
Thanks again!

Went in on Saturday to try and figure out what was wrong with me. Started feeling not great Thursday. On Saturday I was told I was going to have some blood drawn and pee in a cup there but that did not happen. Instead was given lab orders to go to a lab that didn't open till Monday morning. I did get lab work done and still have not heard back from them. I have seen results of lab work too since Monday night. Still not feeling good. Emailed and no response and no answer when calling.

Don't waste your time or money at this place. They will rip you off and take payment if you are self pay before appt, I asked if the $100 was for the appt they said yes. I waited there 3 1/2 hours there to be seen for the flu and to get a doctors note. I had to walk out and have a telemedicine appt cause I couldn't wait any longer. When you leave they said they will collect payment, I paid the $100 to be seen and was told that was for my appt then the front desk said that's to put down for the appt and won't know how much appt will actually be. This place will rip you off never come here. Unfortunately I have to leave a one star review when I would rather leave a zero star review.

Was able to get same day appt on a Sunday, had almost no wait, and found everyone kind, courteous, and very professional. Was able to get xrays and a splint and sling for a fracture right away. Was given a referral, told that I should feel free to reach out or come back with any concerns (Dr. Quimby let me know his work schedule the upcoming week) and provided with a disc of my xrays. The MA was kind enough to take pics with my phone for me. Front desk staff was also great. Much better experience than OPA urgent care clinic I'd gone to 2 yrs ago with a leg fracture; they didn't provide my pictures, were very dismissive, and missed the fracture for 3 weeks. I'm very happy I came to Alpine this time.

Receptionist and medical assistant Jenny were accommodating and had a timely session on mental healthcare and past medical history ,had a check up and urinary analysis with feedback constructively at suite 1300 with Taylor and Jaedyn while I read Leaders In Care ,Golf Digest ,Fortune 100 and Vanity Fair.Never felt this comfy for a while with lots of smile, as you know customers are looking for brands/service they can be open to with trust and class and our interaction meets and exceeds this goal .Some interactions have to be transaction with Al in nature. We must learn,;act;,interact,;and think to lead differently or else we go extinct.

I have mixed feelings on this clinic. I think Dr. Cummings is fabulous. Some of their staff and other doctors not as much. I’ve never had to work so hard to get the appropriate care. It was supposed to be an easy access until I can see a specialist or my primary care provider, but it became more of a hassle.
