Dr. Lee is great but recently the front office staff have been making a lot of mistakes.

On one occasion, I had to call three separate times over two weeks to have a prescription sent to my pharmacy. The individual who answered the first call seemed new and wasn't able to find my prescription information and said she would leave a note for someone. After a week had passed and my prescription had run out, I called again and apparently there was no record of my request anywhere so they stated again that they would leave a note. Several days later my pharmacy still hadn't received it so I called a third time to confirm it was actually being sent. After that call they finally received it.

On another occasion, I was told to have some bloodwork done so they sent the order to Quest. I took the day off work to be able to make the Quest appointment, paid for the labs, and did the blood draw. A couple of weeks later, prior to my follow-up with Dr. Lee, I was informed that the incorrect bloodwork order had been sent and that I would need to go back and do it again. I'm expected to pay for their mistake with my own time and money or be unable to get additional prescription refills. I understand that the medical system is strict and I can't expect exceptions to be made, but this is unacceptable.

People make mistakes and I'm typically patient and understanding, but when several highly inconvenient mistakes are made on their end and I'm the one paying the price, it doesn't sit right with me. Some people there are genuinely caring and competent enough to do their jobs correctly but there seems to be a gap in training or accountability or something that's allowing others to make impactful mistakes like these.

Update: Credit where it's due, Dr Lee accommodated for the situation, which turned out not to be as dire as the individual on the phone had suggested. The bloodwork was not necessary to renew my prescription, so that may have been an assumption on their part. I'm glad I chose not to take their words as absolute truth and am grateful that Dr Lee was apologetic, understanding, and prepared to work with me to get the prescriptions I needed sorted out.

I have been seeing Dr. Lee for over 10 years now. She is incredibly compassionate and has a very gentle demeanor that makes her easy to talk to. She has gotten me all of the necessary referrals to manage some chronic issues. One of which also included sending me straight to Imaging Associates when I was having intense abdominal pain. The receptionist there even commented about how she “loves Dr. Lee” because “she’s so good about getting her patients in right away.” Her office has worked with me through many changes of insurance and she helped find me cheaper medications when I didn’t have insurance. Just can’t recommend her enough.

Quite dissatisfied with the care I received here. Appointments booked only to not have them on there records.

Couple of months back I got in to see the DR for a pretty urgent situation and needed a referral. They were unable to send a fax or confirm anything that they sent out. I had to walk into the office and physically have them print out a paper copy.

Doctors were nice but the backend processing was a nightmare for me.
