My family recently relocated and needed a few things for each of us. The office staff was able to get us in quickly and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Wezzie provided great care, information, and resources for myself and my kids. She is attentive and kind and made me feel at ease with a new care team for the family.

Today's interaction with Amanda at PCA Lake Otis was challenging. Unfortunately, my husband's prescription was denied due to an incomplete prior authorization and missing documentation. While discussing the issue with Amanda, it would have been helpful if she could have been more understanding and apologetic knowing that the error was from their end. It felt like the conversation was cut short making it difficult to address the situation thoroughly. In the future, improving communication and ensuring accurate form submissions could enhance the overall experience for patients dealing with such issues.

I came into their clinic to get a PPD test for my nursing program. I paid upfront $47 for the test by giving a $50 bill. They had no cash for change and I said it was fine I wasn't worried about it. They offered to put it as a credit on my account and I accepted.

When I came back 3 days later to have my PPD read I checked in and was told that they could not complete the reading because I had a balance due with OPA (apparently OPA owns PCA).

I expressed that I had already paid for my service and it should be completed regardless, and if not I needed a refund. If this was an issue I should have never been allowed to have the test administered in the first place.

They called a manager and were able to override the issue after I had to convince the MA working the front desk that this was unacceptable. However, 2 weeks later I received a bill in the mail for $47. It has been a huge pain trying to deal with all of this.

They made something simple into an entire ordeal. They seem to have inconsist scheduling requirements and do not communicate well with OPA in whatever capacity they are related and one affects the other in regards to billing.

First I was hang up twice then I was surprise that when you have a balance you are not allowed to make an appointment. This remind me of the country where I came from, you will be denied to be seen if you owe them or if you don't have any money to pay, thought I am in America, this thing also existed here. My agent for my life insurance ask me last year why do I go to this not so good clinic, now it makes me think, yeah why? I was not accommodated for appointment of course and told me to just go to their urgent care instead without looking for any availability for today. What a disappointment.

Dr Foland has been my primary care physician for 30 years. She is wonderful. Very easy to talk to. Always keeps me informed on what I should be doing for myself health wise. So very grateful they are now accepting Medicare at PCA.

The billing department is a truly failing and disappointing aspect of this primary care office. My husband had a routine, preventative service provided that would be covered in full by insurance if the medical coding were accurate. I’d love to discuss this further with an office manager as I have made zero progress with the one person that occasionally answers or responds to calls in the billing department. This has been such a frustrating and disappointing process that I would highly recommend avoiding the headache; go elsewhere for your treatment.

Wezzie was thorough and absolutely wonderful! I look forward to having her as my new primary care provider as I feel she epitomizes what a healthcare provider should be in the way she listens and makes sure as her patient, I felt heard and cared for and that she will make sure no stone goes unturned in finding out what is going on with my body that has decided to betray me and is falling apart unnecessarily ?‍♀️?
