I have had overall a decent experience with Circle. The staff has been nice and helpful overall, but with some delays hence the three stars. Also, I had to stay on top of them to get my pharmaceutical prior authorization and appeal complete, which was stressful.

Courtney Randolph is the nurse practitioner that I see and she has been really great. I recently started a weight loss journey. Courtney is very informative and is a big advocate for her patients. I really appreciate her.

One more thing I don't like about the practice is that you can't message your provider directly. You always have to create a ticket or jump through hoops to communicate through the provider. Either that, or book an appointment, which is very inconvenient, and has a cost attached to it. Other than those things, circle and Courtney have provided me good care on my weight loss journey.

I’ve been a Circle Medical patient since 2021 but always went to LabCorp for blood work—which was often a hassle, even with an appointment. I recently found out Circle Medical can do blood draws too, and it’s been a much better experience. Booking was easy, I was in and out quickly, and the process was painless. Big shout-out to the phlebotomist—friendly, professional, and made the whole thing smooth and stress-free. So glad I made the switch.

Scam company. No transparency. Can't handle insurance. Won't acknowledge mistakes and just abruptly ends the conversations when confronted with charges. They just lead you in circles while trying to charge your card infinitely. Worst headache I've ever had. Not surprised by the other reviews either. I wonder if we can do a class action and sue this company for insurance fraud.

I held off for a bit, but now am forced to review. It is very clear this is an insurance billing mill, they try to upsell you on everything. And I do mean EVERYTHING, while making actual treatment a pain in the butt: they give you instructions for home care prep and then somehow you always fall short so they can’t treat you. Bill another copay. See you next month. Rinse. Repeat.

I was offered 7 different tests I could take (without there being real medical need, but only because “why not?” and “your insurance will cover it”).

I was also promised I was would be consulted about the price of a sleep apnea study before being billed, the next thing I know a study has been delivered to me house and I’m getting ominous text messages that I have 30 days to do it or be billed for the cost of equipment. I can afford the $45 co pay and I was still evaluating circle medical so I did it, but multiply this by the 7 for the other tests they wanted snd not everyone can’t afford that.

Finally I was seeking continued treatment for a chronic condition I’ve had my whole life and for which I’ve been regularly medicated for over 20 years. I was seeking a new provider since I moved states. They demanded home blood pressure readings - which is fine - I took several, but then the doctor repeatedly refused to prescribe me medication. Ok fine, she wants to make sure I’m not drug seeking no, problem. But then I start asking what she needs specifically, so I can make sure I’m prepared instead of kicking the can down the road another month (and another copay) without treatment for my chronic lifelong condition, with over 20 year medical history, and she obfuscates.

At my last meeting where I subsequently fired circle med; the doctor demanded in the neighborhood of 24-30 blood pressure readings before she would be willing to prescribe the meds I’ve been on my whole life. Standard practice for my condition is 1-2 readings a month, so that’s 1-2 years of blood pressure readings, and way beyond the level of information the doctor would ever have in in-person practice. As it was I had 4 spaced out readings I gave to her that day.

The doctor was also very combative and ultimately unprofessional. She was a few minutes late then started off my appointment wanting to discuss cybersecurity when I mentioned their system was very bothersome and it took months to upload my medical records through non secure means. Then she sat on the phone for 10 minutes telling me how she needed to read my chart and how busy she was with 30 other patients. I had thought she was late because she was reviewing my chart.

Then she started interrupting me and yelling at me when I was calmly but assertively voicing my concerns about her unprofessionalism. I grew up in and working in hospitals, so I know what normal preparation for a patient looks like, and I also have huge appreciation for what they do and thus very high tolerance and leeway.

I grew up in a medical household and living with my condition my whole life - I know what standard and professional treatment looks like. Circle Medical is not it

This company is a scam that is designed to take advantage of people who might not have quality access to medical care. I saw a physician assistant and they charged my insurance so much money that I had to apply it towards my deductible at over $165. The only reason I even consider this company is because my psych retired. They are insane with how they Review and monitor cases and make you jump through an insane amount of hoops just to seek routine medical care. Literally ridiculous and The worst waste of money I’ve ever had.

Super shady practice~ I starting seeing a provider last July. I had to jump through hoops to get my Vyvanse rx. Once I did all that was asked of me, I got an rx. The rx was not honored at big box pharmacies, so the search began for a pharmacy, I finally found one. I moved out of California and they don’t provide services in my new state. It was super easy to find a provider where I now live. I thought that was the end of Circle Medical. Noooooooo—a couple months later, I started receiving messages that I owe $100 and my card would be charged in 48hrs. When I inquired to their Robot chat, I was told there was a problem with my insurance. Really!? 7 months later? Then, I got another bill for another $100 for a different month, same story they would charge my card in 48 hrs. It seems they will be continuing to charge me $100 every few days until After, the first time, I contacted my bank and they are handling it. I asked for a billing statement to submit to my insurance and they gave me a substandard statement. I contacted both of my insurances, no bill ever submitted to either.
This place is a scam- I can’t delete my cc without entering a new one. You can’t ever talk to a person and you are left to having robots respond. So happy to be done with them!!!!

*** oh, I forgot to mention, the first provider I was scheduled to see was a no show and I was charged anyway. I had to jump through hoops to
fix that. My provider was good, but their whole system just REALLY sucks!!!

2/20/2025 ***Another update~ today I got an email with billing charges going back to July 2024 totaling $649. One charge for a date I was never even seen on. What company waits 8 months to send you a bill? Like I said before, super shady company.

Truly the WORST healthcare I’ve ever experienced.

Doctors and lab workers are constantly late or canceling, negligent in relaying important lab information, and the app/medical advisors on it is a total joke.

My first visit was for a routine exam, but the doctor refused to do it because she wasn’t sure if insurance would cover it. Instead of checking, she sent me home. The next available appointment? Two months later.

When I went back for lab tests, no one told me I needed to fast beforehand. Then, the lab closed during my appointment, and I had to leave and come back an hour later.

To make things worse, they ran tests without informing me of potential costs. My insurance later confirmed they should have gotten my approval first—which left me with a denied claim and a $400 bill.

This company does nothing but waste people’s time, money, and energy. Avoid at all costs.

I Love circle medicine’s wide range of availability. All workers have such a polite demeanor in my experience. The waiting lounge is very clean but within 2 minutes they were ready to see me. Also the phlebotomist was great I’m normally very anxious about getting my blood taken but it went very well.
