If you are combing through these reviews right now, my heart goes out to you. Your family is probably going through something very difficult right now, and you are wondering how you will ever move beyond what now seems insurmountable. You are probably feeling overwhelmed not just by what is going on in your life right now, but at the vast array of options that are out there in PHP and IOP facilities.

I was there. I read reviews for dozens. I met with several. I knew that this was a choice that would impact our family in a major way. I wanted to make sure I made the right decision. I can say every fiber of my being that bringing our daughter to Chapters was the absolute right decision. The reason why? Lucy Minassian. As a therapist, she's pretty unconventional. But she was EXACTLY what our daughter needed. She is exactly what our family needed. She has helped us rebuild together.

Lucy is one piece of what makes Chapters great. Dr. Parhami has been a great support, along with Brandy managing the day to day and dealing with insurance. Our daughter has had nothing but great things to say about the team that leads group therapy as well as her individual therapists. We are so thankful for the care we received at Chapters. It was absolutely the best choice for our family.

I can't say enough about the effectiveness of Chapters Family Treatment Center through its therapist Lucy Minassian and psychiatrist Dr. Parhami. Chapters gets to the root causes of the pathology, which is what leads to true transformation--and then they solidly support your child after treatment through outpatient. Chapters offers outpatient too in a continuum of care model that addresses an enormous gap and brokenness in the mental health system. High quality continuum of care is what makes the difference, and Chapters delivers. Thank you Chapters for giving me my daughter back. I am eternally grateful.

My husband and I are so great full to Dr. Parhami, Lucy, Brandy and the rest of the Team. We were so desperate to find a special Team that could help our son. We tried two different center and our son was not receiving the treatment he needed. Finally we were referred to Dr. Parhami and his amazing Team.
Our son is receiving Intense outpatient therapy from Chapters and we can see him feeling and getting better, we are also learning so much about how are son feels. We love the family meetings that we have every Wednesday night and our individual meetings with just our son and Lucy on Friday’s. So much has been shared and we continue to heal as a family.Thank you again Chapters for all that you do.

My family faced peculiar and fairly undiagnosable, intractable emotional and behavioral challenges. My family-member was "discharged" from facilities for behavior that a full staff of trained professionals could not manage, leaving me somehow to figure out how to deal with a system of troublesome behaviors and emotional crises that they couldn't. Dr. Iman Parhami (MD MPH) and Lucy Minassian (LCSW) welcomed and supported my family member in and through their difficult times that others found impossible. The improvement has been blinding and extraordinary. Chapters' keen, welcoming, honest, and forthright treatment strategies have been absolutely literally life-saving. The change amounts to a peaceful, fun, and just simple life. It is something that is hard to imagine when in the deep struggles of a family member's depression and dysfunction. But it has been beautiful to see them re-discover their worth and embrace life, the present and their future.
