I went to Dr. Yang with a Bone infection and she discussed with me my options to clean out the infection and re-do my root canal (she didn't do the first one, it was over 10 years ago) or get my tooth pulled and eventually get an implant. Dr. Yang really wanted to try and save my tooth with the root canal and I agreed. She was absolutely amazing, kind and gentle. Going to the dentist is very hard for me and I have a lot of anxiety when going. She made sure I was comfortable and that I did not feel any pain. I went back for a check up 6 months later to see if my bone was healing and it was!!! She celebrated with me and was just as happy as I was that my tooth would be okay. I am so thankful that I was referred to Dr. Yang and that she saved my tooth. I would not go anywhere else for a root canal.

I rarely bother leaving reviews, let alone for dental work, but this was definitely one of the best dental experiences I've had. I was called to schedule an appointment as soon as they received my referral; initially for 2 weeks out, but when I shared that I was in pain, they not only bumped my appointment a week up but also called again to offer a last-minute opening even sooner. I was very grateful to resolve my pain asap. The office is very clean and comfortable. Dr. Yang worked with exactly the swift urgency you'd want from someone treating your painful root canal, while also taking some time to explain things (including drawing a diagram) and pause for questions. She was very attentive throughout the procedure; checking if I was ok, offering breaks, and quick to numb more if I flinched even slightly. I was sent on my way with extra pain meds, a water bottle, and chapstick, all which I was very glad to have afterwards. Highly recommend this location, especially Dr. Yang.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Gregory K.An today for a root canal. He was extremely kind. Since this was my first root canal ever, he explained in detail the procedure and what he needed to do to repair my tooth. Throughout the process, he asked if I was okay and if I was experiencing any pain. If so, he would stop and administer more medicine. Lucky for me, I did not need any additional pain medicine. He had a wonderful bedside manner and I would definitely return to him for treatment if I ever need another root canal.
In addition, his staff was also very caring and thoughtful. They made sure I was comfortable before the treatment began and actually put me at ease. In total, a great office between Dr. An and his staff.

Scared about getting a root canal? Nervous about dental work? See Dr. An. He is incredible as is his staff. They are kind, calm, professional, and very, very good at what they do. This was my second root canal with them. The first time I was so scared. Scared of the potential pain, the drilling, if something was going to hurt, what to expect. Anxiety through the roof.

They were so accommodating. I paid for gas to help my nerves. Do this if you can. I have insurance but they don’t cover it.

Between that and their exceptional bedside manner it was not just tolerable, it was a great experience. So when I learned years later that I needed a second root canal, I practically skipped into their office.

Both times Dr. An called me the same evening to check on me and make sure I was ok.

If white glove service was a thing for dental care, Dr. An and his office would have the award for it. It also doesn’t hurt that he has the most soothing voice. Puts me right at ease.

I take great care of my teeth so I may not need another root canal but if I do, I know I will be in good hands with Dr. An and his team. Special thank you to his assistant Ida. She was wonderful as well.

Lastly, the front office can feel a bit much because they are more diligent than other appointments I’ve made in terms of confirming the appointment. They called me twice and texted me while I was in a meeting at work. I imagine people no show for these appointments sometimes which costs them time and money right? So I can appreciate the follow up here as they are running a business.

They will also call if he finished up early to see if you can come earlier. Take it for what it is if you can. His time is valuable, it might benefit you if you can go in earlier, and they are really just being efficient with their time. For my pre appointment they called to see if I could come earlier but I couldn’t, they were fine with that. For my actual root canal they called to say he was ready early if I could come and it worked out for me.

Dr Yang did a root canal on me today. Normally a root canal is something you wouldn't describe as painless. But I can honestly say it was painless. Dr Yang's total concern for the patient's pain tolerance is what makes her the only dentist I will go to if I need a root canal. She makes sure nearly every minute that the patient is feeling no pain and if there is any she stop and add more novacaine or discuss options to eliminate any discomfort. She also explains everything to the patient both before the procedure, during the procedure, and after she is finished. The staff, especially the dental assistants are professional and friendly. This whole experience today would not have gone as smoothly as it did without the work of the entire staff and doctors at Woodside Endodontics and the care level they provide throughout my visit today and in the past Thank you Dr Yang.

I needed a root canal done asap. Woodside Endodontics made an appointment for me the next day, without requiring an initial consultation, unlike the first (and most recommended) number I called. Having had root canals before, I had a lot of anxiety. Dr. An talked me through the procedure and helped me hang in there. The dental assistant was so understanding and held my hand to calm my nerves. About five minutes after getting the anesthesia, I started shaking and couldn't stop. Six days later I am doing fine. No bad effects from the root canal procedure. The swelling was nearly gone by the next morning.

I went in to get a root canal procedure. I was completely nervous. I was impressed with how comforting and friendly the staff was. Kelsey the receptionist was very friendly, professional, and patient with me. Anna the dentist assistant was very friendly, comforting and reassuring in my nervous state. Dr. An was friendly and patient as he walked me through the procedure. I appreciated how he kept checking in with me during the root canal procedure. I left the office with a care package that was given to me and with a peace of mind.

The most clean dentist and caring staff. I had a root canal done a couple weeks back - 1) The dentist did multiple checks to ensure the correct tooth was being worked on, 2) Numbed me enough until I felt comfortable for him to begin root canal; 3) Was thorough but quick - checking in on me and saying I’m doing great throughout root canal. At the end, I received a cute takeaway kit for aftercare. What was amazing is I did not need to take ANY medication same day or next day. The tooth was handled with such care, I wasn’t really even sore at all next day. I will ONLY go to Woodside for any root canals I may need done in the future. P.S The dentist also calls you the evening after treatment just to check in and make sure you’re ok 🙂 , just incredible!
